  1. Booked a room for four nights at The Vendue Enclave. Seems walkable to many restaurants, bars, and other attractions. And set a calendar reminder to get a table at Fig, since they don't accept reservations until 4 weeks out.
  2. Why don't you just make a ham and not make the rest of us look bad?
  3. Cue the MAGA crowd for saying Biden’s tweet was not “presidential.”
  4. Bumping this mofo. The soon-to-be-wife and I are going to Charleston June 6-10, first time for us both. We’re not taking a single long honeymoon after our wedding, and instead will be taking a few shorter trips spread out over the year. Charleston will be the first. Skimming though this thread it looks like we need to go to Raw 187 and Fig. Would appreciate hotel recs in the heart of town, in the high 4-star range.
  5. It’s not an exaggeration to say that Matt Nordgren’s 4th quarter TD against Baylor in 2005 was THE greatest run in UT history.
  6. Never ceases to amaze me that this isn't satire.
  7. Totally. Last week they put liquid paper on a bee. It died.
  8. Have you been touching yourself, Kyle? Yes . . . I mean, no!
  9. I’m a fan of Link’s other places, so I wanted to love Herbsaint, but I just didn’t.
  10. Worst fog I’ve seen in years in 78759. Visibility couldn’t have been more than 25 yards.
  11. You know, the dumbest guy in my fraternity became a geographer!
  12. This? This is Kyle. This is what happens when people get too sexually frustared.
  13. Why don’t you just kill your coworker?
  14. Eventually: TRUMP TO MAR-A-LAGO TUESDAY BRIDGE CLUB: Investigate Biden or I’ll pull my support
  15. Greg Abbott will pardon his death.
  16. And talk about a fucking incredible film adaptation – actors, location, soundtrack, and one of the best film narrations of all time by Richard Dreyfuss.

    The fuck?
  18. All good ones, but this is by far my favorite Stephen King quote, and maybe my favorite of all books all time, the intro to The Body. It’s stayed with me since high school. “The most important things are the hardest to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them -- words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they're brought out. But it's more than that, isn't it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you may make revelations that cost you dearly only to have people look at you in a funny way, not understanding what you've said at all, or why you thought it was so important that you almost cried while you were saying it. That's the worst, I think. When the secret stays locked within not for want of a teller but for want of an understanding ear.“
  19. “I saw Alan this morning, and you know what I can't figure out?” “Alan's in Utah.” “I... can't figure out what I was doing in Utah this morning.”
  20. That’s . . . concerning. Anyone know what’s up?
