  1. Thanks. And yeah, "Barron in year three" could have meant just about anything.
  2. Yeah I think Loomer and Stephen Miller are largely running things. It's kind of amazing we're still here.
  3. He lazily gets Bijan comparisons sometimes, but I seriously think that's because they're both from Arizona. We haven't seen him play at all since highlights from his senior season in high school so I have no clue what to expect.
  4. Neither here nor there but I’m reading In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson. Re: early Nazi leadership, “With few exceptions, the men who are running this government are of a mentality that you and I cannot understand. Some of them are psychotic cases and would ordinarily be receiving treatment somewhere.” sound familiar
  5. I question reality all of the time now. Especially when people I have known my entire life talk to me about how great Trump is. The short answer I think is people mainlining insane right-wing propaganda for decades. But then you watch five seconds of that shit and go "How could anyone fall for this?" and you're back to questioning reality. I don't know, man.
  6. I'll go first. They weren't horrific by any means, but they generally got about what the play was blocked for, against a light box much of the time. I thought Wisner was a lot less physical than what we saw last year (think atm) before he tired out in the playoffs. We clearly do not have a Bijan or Jonathon Brooks on this team. But like I said, Baxter will only get better and he may be our volume back by midseason.
  7. Some podcast I was listening to said something about the whole French Laundry deal potentially costing Newsom the presidency in 2028. I cannot possibly think of a better example of "Republicans can do whatever the fuck they want at all times, and democrats have to be perfect". I guarantee you that if 83 year-old Trump is running for a third term, and most of the country is burning, including the Constitution, you will hear "Yeah but remember when Newsom ate in a restaurant eight years ago? Gotta pull the lever for Trump."
  8. I kinda thought that the lack of a portal RB was due to Clark's recovery. But then he didn't play against OSU. During the game I turned to my friend and said "We have seven RBs if we're including Niblett. Are these two really far and away our two best, to the extent that none of the others even see the field?" Wisner is Wisner. Tough dude who will get you four yards when four yards are there for the taking. Baxter has a shot to be the guy, as I thought he looked like he was going at about 75% last weekend.
  9. Not to worry. All of the fat bald guys with goatees making videos in their huge disgusting trucks with pictures of guns and 2A stickers plastered all over the place will be along shortly to voice their disgust. Just like all of the same freedom and liberty guys will all be along shorty to defend Rosie O'Donnell. I guess none of them have heard about any of this yet.
  10. Yeah, hence "in about year three".
  11. I laughed at this quote from Sark today. "I don't know how many more times I could have come on a press conference with you guys and reference Graceson Littleton throughout spring ball, throughout training camp, of the guy who'd been performing at a really high level for us. You kept wanting to ask me about other people and I kept bringing up Graceson Littleton." Yep, dude looks like another Jahdae Barron, in about year three.
  12. I turned this on for about 90 seconds before going "yeah I choose to believe right now that this isn't real life" and turned some music on instead. Someone was yelling at him "You don't think the covid vaccines saved lives??".
  13. I was somewhat nonplussed on passing on Barnett, until I heard Mack speak at his first PC. Mack wasn't a perfect coach by any means, but at the time he was exactly what we needed. I mean fuck, he had to tell us to get there by kickoff and maybe put on an orange shirt.
  14. He should be impeached just for that threat. I mean, in theory. You cannot have your citizenship revoked because the president doesn't like you. We have like laws and rights and shit that protect against that. Pretty sure Trump took an oath, twice, to defend those rights. In fairness, I doubt it would have been a problem at all if Obama declared publicly that he was considering removing Sean Hannity's citizenship.
  15. Put Jonah Williams on kick return as soon as he's healthy. Having Baxter out there on the first play of the season was kind of insane.
  16. Is Niblett just a straight line speed guy? I feel like they've tried him all over the place, including punt returns (and defensive back prior to that) and nothing works.
  17. The motherfucker called it a hoax (which if you have watched him for more than about 10 minutes you know that means it is 100% real and he is guilty as shit) and then in the next sentence said that he has recently ended seven wars. When even MTG is starting to go “Hey, hold on a second…..”
  18. We recently had people quit over changes in scheduling.
  19. I keep thinking stuff like this.... if Trump didn't exist, and we hired an exact clone of him at work, no one would be able to believe it. "Where the fuck did they find this person?? What's wrong with him? Is it safe to be around him? He is not tethered to reality, at all. Literally everything he says is either a lie, wrong, or both. If he's not fired by tomorrow, I will quit" etc etc. But here on Earth one, he's the republican nominee for President three consecutive cycles, and President twice.
  20. "Colorado has mail-in voting, which means all of their elections are crooked" - The current President of the United States, in a statement that won't be controversial.
  21. Pod Save America guys were talking about what Obama would have done if his cabinet tried something like that (he would have been beyond furious). "What the fuck are y'all doing?"
  22. When Biden was in the middle of his lovely debate performance last summer, and sometime around the time he said "We defeated Medicare", the buzzards were already circling before the debate was even over. Even basically every democrat was like "Oh fuck! This is bad. Really, really bad." Trump gets to spew absolute nonsense, and have virtually everyone go "Huh. Interesting." and then move on. Must be nice.
  23. There are also six billion threads now. I’m not keeping up with most of them but I will this one throughout the season.
