  1. I'm sure CDC is keen to get your input.
  2. So fire Miller if we don't make the Final Four by 2028, that's your angle?
  3. I understood what you said, I'm saying expecting FF level play by year 3 is inconsistent with what even fully formed programs are doing. Expecting Kansas or Auburn or UConn or UNC to be at that level of play by 2028 is not born out by history for most programs. It's a dumb metric.
  4. 3 schools have made the Final Four more than once in the last 5 years, each with 2 appearances (40%): UConn Duke Houston It is incredibly difficult to make the Final Four every 3 years (or similar), much less starting from a very mid program.
  5. What makes you say that? She's obviously intelligent but nothing about her education or career makes me think she's as good as it gets.
  6. Well, Sark only had 6 seasons as a head coach under his belt when hired him, and the first 5 were at UDub where he took over a program that had gone 0-12 the season before. They finished 3rd in the Pac_whatever North in his 3rd and 5th years, and USC finished 2nd in the South before he flamed out and drank himself out of a job. If Miller is as successful at Texas as Sark has been, I'll be thrilled.
  7. Yeah, this coach has taken them to 13 regionals and 2 super regionals in his 18 years on the job. They're solid.
  8. I don't think my first patent got assigned. We didn't know what we were doing. Unfortunately, the invention (while fascinating from a physics point of view) never led to a product with any real value.
  9. While I wouldn't discourage trying to get a little coin out of his signature, the fact is that he was already compensated for the work that led to the invention. Were he still with the company, they wouldn't pay him a dime to sign (other than perhaps a bonus, which can vary from nothing to substantial by company).
  10. Did it occur to you that maybe he was buying the snake?
  11. I've worked for a small number of great managers, and a whole bunch of "eh" managers. Trev sounds like he's as bad as one could imagine.
  12. Does that mean the company can file the application and (potentially) be granted the patent with celery as a co-inventor even if he doesn't sign?
  13. Again, not an attorney, but I managed the patent portfolio for a public company, and we were VERY loathe to (a) name non-inventors as inventors and (b) leave off inventors. I would start by asking if this confirms you as an inventor, and then document their answer for posterity.
  14. I have well over a dozen patents. Every one is assigned to the company I worked for when the invention was developed and the patent was filed. I doubt you have any options here, but maybe @TwiceHorn or some other IP attorneys can advise otherwise.
  15. A&M should revamp their cheer squad -- the MilkMennonites.
  16. I spotted the flaw in your reasoning.
  17. LMAO. You appear to be somewhat ignorant as to how the old rule of law is being rapidly eroded. Are you actually a lawyer?
  18. While a seemingly trivial point, it really isn't. It illustrates his senility.
  19. Somebody fix my memory: didn't Tesla originally market an open-wheel roadster? Not the couple called the "Roadster" but more like a small F1 car?
  20. As I watched the Final Four and tonight's game, I kept thinking "we aren't even close to being in the same orbit as these teams". I hope Miller can change that, but I don't think it's a short-term project.
  21. Golden is exactly the kind of guy I never want associated with UT. I'm looking at you, Tom Herman.
  22. Man, Golden is a douchebag. Act like a man, not a fucking frat boy.
