  1. She got a post graduate from Texas. And this from https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/news/grade-point/wp/2018/04/18/after-calling-barbara-bush-an-amazing-racist-a-professor-taunts-critics-i-will-never-be-fired/ “The writer taunted those attacking her, sharing a contact number that was actually that of Arizona State University’s suicide hotline..” She sucks...
  2. Clean your house like crazy. Clorox wipes are your friend. I would limit whoever is sick to using one bathroom and make sure they wash their hands really good after. When something like that hits my house it goes through like a freight train. I spend as much time as possible at the office (yes, I’m an asshole). We feel like the cleaner we are the quicker it’s out (probably no truth to it, but it makes my wife feel better). Good luck
  3. I just got the AC1750 for my inlaws this weekend. Was that a mistake? They had some POS Belkin that was 10 years old and wouldn’t find and connect anything to the same network (AirPrint for instance). The Netgear was easy to set up. They’re about to move from a 3k sq ft house to a 5k sq ft house though. They will probably never get an Alexa.
  4. Instead of answering, ask him why he thinks ... My 4.5 is this way. Him: “Why do we have to sleep at night?” Me: “why do you think?” When he ask a question, instead of answering I’ve started asking what he thinks. His answers have been pretty eye opening. Sometimes he’s asking questions he already knows the answers, or thinks he knows the answers. Sometimes he thinks about it and comes up with crazy answers.
  5. Guy doing handstand needs to do it facing the other way so he’s looking down. Bet that would be a lot more mind blowing. And how often do these guys fall?
  6. On the old site I had asked for help, I can’t go find the recs. Old AirPort Extreme has been giving me problems lately (keeps showing flashing Ted light for no reason - it’s old). What should I replace it with? Connecting TV, AppleTV, laptop, iPad and a couple phones. It’ll be in the middle of my house that’s about 2800 sq ft.
  7. She’s got spiders on her hand
  8. I’m a fan. I wonder if Netflix or Amazon will ever start releasing these one show at a time, weekly like the networks do.
  9. Taking fam to Riveria Maya in July. Wife is already scared shitless after US travel advisory. I guarantee I get these stories in my face when I get home today.
  10. What are ways to get money to cover renovations? A house my wife has had her eye on might be coming around earlier than we had thought. The price won’t be an issue, but it’s going to need a lot of renovations. Wife thinks we can wait and do parts here and there. I would rather do it all at once then move in.
  11. 75 shots over 48 hours doesn’t sound safe. Things must have changed. When I first got tested I swelled up so much they gave me a Benadryl and sent me home before we finished. They told me I needed to wait 5 days for my system to clear out. That was 10 years ago.
  12. I worked in a frame shop in high school and used to frame all my posters. They’re all at my parents house (assuming they haven’t been trashed after 20+ yrs) and I was thinking recently of getting them back. All the good ones are Pearl Jam. See if I can get pics.
  13. I could be getting some things confused.
  14. Didn’t Mack’s legacy cause the birth of ShaggyBevo? For that, I applaud his performance at Texas
  15. My kids are 4.5 and they still take a nap. Anywhere from 1.5-2 hours. 6 yr lays down for about 30min to an hour. Days they have school they don’t nap. When I get home from work I can usually tell who has and who hasn’t had a nap. I also just took an hour long nap and it was pretty nice.
  16. I did allergy shots in Austin for years and they worked (4 once a week). Allergist told me I was top 5 worst she had ever seen. After 2 years, for some reason my body started rejecting the shots and I would swell up and get really bad reactions. At that point we started daily under tongue drops. Those continued for a long time and also worked well. One day I just stopped to see where things stood. No allergies. I moved to Houston area 3 years ago. Never had a problem until pine got me last year. It gets on my throat and I lose my voice. This year has been a different story. I’m dying. Using Claritin-D, musinix and some nose spray. Need to go to AUSTIN sir work. Dreading it if things are this bad in the Houston area.
  17. Allen Edmunds Anniversary sale thru 4/23. Online and in store I believe.
  18. Thanks! Been waiting for this and the timing is perfect. My last bag is almost empty.
  19. Everyone does things differently, we try to let our kids make decisions to a point. I believe kids need structure. They need you to tell them what to do and when to do it. That’s why I’m the parent. When we have time for bullshit, I let them figure it out. When we don’t, I’m making the decisions or let them think they’re making decisions that we’ve already made for them. As they get older I give them notice and let them make bigger decisions and if they haven’t made said decisions by my timeline, we’re making it for them. Oldest is 6. She has more responsibilities than her 4 year old brother/sister. For school, the clothing options are figured out the night before and they are usually given 2 or 3 options. My wife is shitty at making decisions and my oldest inherited that trait. The fewer options the easier the decision. Figure out how to empower your kids without letting them run the show. That’s just my opinion.
  20. How many people are we talking about? A train coming through your yard or a handful over the last month? Motion sensor sprinkler (usually for deer) would be a good use here.
