All the higher end Marriotts in NOLA are great, although the JW will “fee” you less than the Ritz. Recently had a great stay at a JW resort in Scottsdale. The St. Regis in Houston is a great property, as mentioned already.
Gotta give some love to this recipe. I have been doing this since you posted for the same tasty-but-sensible-meal-option reasons you posted, and it is amazing.
Don’t have an InstaPot, thought. Just doing it old-school on the stove.
Still freakin’ rocks, man. Well done!
That’s a very cool tradition that says a lot about you and your family. Not everything has to be “perfect”. Just perfect for the occasion at that time in that place. And everyone is happy about it.
Well done. And Merry Christmas!
Wife (no pics) is making a Pumpkin Creme Brulee with a Cranberry Compote, and also cranking out batches of Pumpkin Cranberry Muffins. And they are all exceptional.
Doesn’t mean I won’t be scoring Pumpkin Pie wherever I can find it for the next month.
Same here. I always enjoyed the drink, never paid attention to the horse. Didn’t realize we had to play a stupid game. Had a bartender at the Gunter in SA explain to me why he had corks sitting on his bar.
Hoping he goes away, huh? Not bloody likely.
And ...have I missed the prostitutes that are worthy of being worshipped? Are we keeping them in a particular spot or something...?
Every one will be having sales right now. ‘Tis the season. My last purchase was at a new Jared. A grand opening combined with pre-Black Friday. Wasn’t planning on walking out with jewelry, but it happened. I also feel like my dollars went pretty far.
I did my bachelor party in Austin at the age of 43. Pretty simple and old school. Drinks at Midnight Cowboy, grub at Casino el Camino, some pinball and bar-hopping until the lightweights started showing structural failure.
By the time we hit Expose, we WERE the party. Made it rain and helped a couple of lovely deaf girls pay their tuition.
Did I mention it was a Tuesday?
Did a taste test of the readily available brands years ago, and was amazed at the differences.
Purely novice and subjective opinion here, but Filippo Berio is the only Olive Oil used in my kitchen.
