That is complaint I see leveled at Sark occasionally. He does not run a college friendly offense. I dont have the playbook or ever been in a meeting, so I am just parroting. I believe Golden mentioned the issues he had learning the system. There are not a ton of easy spread offense stuff in there. Heard a lot of moving parts and adjustments to coverages. It is heavily influenced by the West Coast offense, so there are a ton of timing routes in there. I think that is part of the Wingo/Arch issues. There something going on there. Wingo is at 28 targets for 13 catches and 190 yards. That is 46% and 6.8 yards/target. Livingstone is 15 targets for 11 catches and 232 yards. That is 73% and 15.5 yards/attempt. Endries is 10 targets for 7 catches and 106. That is 70% comp and 10.6 yards/target. I am guessing there is fault on both side of the Arch/Wingo connection, but hard to figure out what exactly the issue is. I think getting that connection to viable level over the bye week would do wonders for the offense.
(I found those targets using AI, so I am not sure they are 100% accurate. I could not find Moore.)
