  1. Man that motherfucker just doesn’t take a hint does he?
  2. As a card carrying Nebraskan who can’t vote against any of the assholes the Nebraska Republican offer up until November, I’ll just note Herbster is from Richardson County which gave us the Rulo Cult Killings and the events that Boys Don’t Cry were based upon. Pillen is just a fucking bad, but less handsy and knocked the fuck out of Billy Sims to force a fumble to secure Tom Osborne first win over OU. The other guy Lindstrom is also shitty but has the sense to at least say the quiet parts quiet. The party apparatus and Ricketts hate Herbster on a personal level, but he has enough money to not give a shit
  3. Coming to theatres late May in a limited fashion. I booked myself tickets to one of the 3 showings locally to me today. Probably going to wear pastels, and possibly get some low grade hallucinogens for the experience.
  4. I remember reading a few years back that Ukraine could cut their natural gas use a ton if they had the ability to regulate heat but most dwellings the Soviet era heating was either on or off, so maybe they haven’t?
  5. I’d just assume that if Twitter wants to continue to sell ads and/or charge people to use their service steps will have to be made to keep it from being comparable to standing next to hog manure lagoon turning over in the spring. That’ll inevitably upset the folks that enjoy being constantly slathered in shit.
  6. I’ll also note that soy oil futures have shown significant buy the rumor sell the fact action on that front
  7. After watching what Parkinson did to my Grandpa, I always said I’d never wish it on anyone. Turns out I was wrong about that
  8. Well they did have to build a bunch for him what with Port Arthur and Tshushima and all
  9. Because if the cow/calf guy has poor margins and dry weather like he has the last few years, poor performing cows get made into Arbys roast beef, and you have less cattle on feed because the calf crop gets smaller, and once that cycle gets rolling like it is now, it’s going to take awhile to build numbers back since you get one calf a year, and retaining those heifers isn’t going to yield anymore calves for another year, as opposed to a sow knocking out 20+ piglets a year and hen knocking out a lot of broilers
  10. At least in other bird flu years, it’s ran its course by early June, and the biology is a much quicker turn around for poultry that pigs or cattle. The divot from PRRS in hogs last year will likely hurt more than bird flu, plus cattle numbers are going tighten up a lot over the next two years
  11. The lack of easy access to back episodes of NOVA is a definite hole in my life as well.
  12. UP in particular, and railroads in general are a big bucket of fuck right now.
  13. It's tight but we are good for this season. Should have the capacity to build inventories domestically ahead of fall. Bigger than fertilizer is that the weather needs to cooperate here and in South America to build a cushion.
  14. Given that beef production continues to run above year ago levels, and we are seeing the best daily runs since 2019, I wouldn't worry about beef. Bird flu on the chickens should wrap up by early June, and pork is starting to close the gap a bit on the disease losses from last year. Feed availability is ahead of a year ago as well.
  15. Emigration and/or sex selective abortion
  16. This time you’ll convince everyone, I’m sure of it.
  17. 80 years of better damage control in theory too.
  18. Just look at the sheer amount of ordinance that it took to put the Yamato, Musashi, and Bismarck down.
  19. With the exception of the Fendts and the leftover MTZ's the bulk of the tractors you are seeing came off lines in Waterloo and Racine.
  20. Sometimes you’ll see identical post here and on Tigerdroppings at the same time. It wouldn’t take long to cut and paste through a bunch of boards and catch a pretty big cross section of folks
  21. Someone should ask Belgium how agreeing to be neutral can work out for a flattish strategically located country
  22. Seeing the Fendt's is great because they're the best for hauling tanks of shit, and now they get the opportunity to haul a different type of tank full of shit.
  23. Just got word my cousin and her husband came through ok in Elgin. Sounds like at least one side of town was missed by the roughest stuff. Aunt and Uncle said it’s getting rough now near Giddings
  24. Just checked on my pregnant cousin that worked in the path of the storm, they got sent home early and she made it back on her long commute to Elgin on time.
