Few episodes in on the Australia series - woof, it's bad.  How do you tap out in the first few days.

I tried to watch the 1st season but was very disappointed when I found out that the biggest threat was the Tasmanian Devil ...an animal which has never killed a human.

The show is fun because of the danger.  Remove that and it's boring as hell.

And then put them in a cold swamp where there's almost no food to top it off.  And make sure there are really dumb fishing regs that make it even harder for them to catch what little there is.

That’s my issue with the cold climes.  It’s basically a race for fat, and then outlasting the other starving players.  I’d rather it be a set time and survivors split the pot.  Say 75-90 days.

Australia is very limited on what can be hunted or not.  Most things are protected for natives.

Speaking of, I was wondering why nobody spoke of killing a kangaroo on this season's Last One Standing.  I was under the impression that they were basically considered large rats in Australia.  Quick search shows only specific hunters with a specific license can hunt them.

I watch Australian cooking shows and they eat a lot of kangaroo.
