No shit fuck stick.  Nor is that the point you keep obfuscating.  You have this idiotic idea that unless you are in 100% support of EVERYTHING related or tied to BLM (except remember kids, they are "decentralized)...albeit burning houses, destroying businesses, looting, rioting, violence, threats of murder, and attacks, you are against them, hate black people, and support the current structures in place.

That about sum it up you fucking meat flap?

It's more that the totality of posts you make are slanted against BLM, police reform, and social progress generally. You poke fun against the movements goals, you minimize and attack prominent figures in post after post, but it's really all just goofs and gaffs and you actually do hope things improve?

Don't piss on my shoe and tell me it's raining. Every post you make on the subject is derogatory towards the protesters and their movement, and exculpatory towards the police and authoritarians putting down the protests.

Those things aren't from BLM. The fact that you're tying them to BLM is why it's clear that you're against them and support the current structures in place. You're doing the work of the oppressive and racist structures by constantly lying about BLM.

Hope this helps! :D

Thanks, but I don't think Thatguy needs you to answer for him.  I asked Thatguy what he meant in his response to Hate's post.  I didn't ask you or any other spokesman for a position or group for their interpretation of "Silence is Collusion."  I don't care how a collective allegedly thinks or interprets a phrase or video.  I cared about what an individual (Thatguy) meant in response to what another individual (Hate) posted.

Could've saved yourself a lot of words by just not responding, tough guy. lol

So you are against the sit-ins at lunch counters? Answer honestly. :)

"I totally support the cause I just think the distractions are harmful to said cause!1!"

- Zero posts ever about the cause of or discussing solutions to the problem
- Hundreds and hundreds of posts angry at the protests

I don't oppose MLK's protests. the outward social unrest is by many races.

So you're moving the goalpost to "you have to ask for the permit"?

You see what I'm saying? You keep getting hit with facts and you keep receding into a tighter and tighter corner and shifting the criteria.

Police told them to leave. They were violating lawful orders. You're having to twist yourself into quite a pretzel here to pretend to be supportive of MLK while opposing black civil rights movements today.

All in response to the utterly bullshit narrative that unless you are 100% in support of everything BLM does, you are a racist and don't support lack people.  That is fucking nonsense.  It's just a talking point designed to deflect any of the litany of stupid shit done recently back on the poster with attacks or racism.

It's not that you have to be 100% in support of BLM or you're a racist.

It's that it's incredibly obvious that you're a racist because everything you say and do on this thread is exactly what a racist would say and do.

The protester — called “trumpet man” by others in the crowd — was shown prone on the ground more than once as groups of bike cops pushed the mob back after declaring the march an unlawful protest.

As the officers advanced another time, one appeared to have had enough — and steered his bike’s wheels over the protester’s white safety helmet, according to a CJTV Media livestream. The officer — who was walking the bike at the time — then appeared to use it to hit another man to stop him getting too close.

So he repeatedly would lay down in front of approaching police trying to get a photo op.  (I wonder if he'll try that with a train next...)

Edit:  Seems to be ok, arrested and released

And it might have something to do with peaceful Antifa (Cosplay?) earlier hitting a bike cop in the helmet with a baseball bat:

More vids from last night at posts #4041 to 4055 (for those who want to skip the circular back and forth arguing of the last couple of pages from the usual handful of posters/socks/"Your side is wacist!')

No. You are looking past all of the evidence to find the one bit of evidence to align with your narrative. As BradInATX said, none of the mechanics change at all.

No, I’m saying that the perspectives have changed for the people of my generation and that we are not operating through the lens of a massive shift in policy like segregation. I didn’t ever grow up at a time when sports were all white. I grew up with most of my sports heroes being black. I didn’t grow up during a time when there were no black professionals like doctors or lawyers or teachers. I grew up with black astronauts and black politicians. I grew up seeing mixed marriages on TV. I didn’t grow up in an era when that was wrong. I don’t think things can be looked at the same way they were 50+ years ago because I believe a lot of things are different now.

I mean I see where you're coming from. Sort of that the level of protest should reflect the level of oppression. I don't really agree, because I think it's symbolic of the real problem of racial inequality that white people feel like they get to determine what that "appropriate" level of outrage and protest is. I guess I don't see it as a situation where as some inequities are reduced, they should reduce their level of outrage and social unrest. Equality is equality, and I think you know that despite some advances, we're not there. Especially when it comes to equality of opportunity.

But I have shit to do and we're headed down a path of a much more intellectually honest conversation that certainly doesn't belong this thread, so maybe we'll take it up another day on another thread.

^^ this is a great example of the attacking prominent figures for speaking out who support the BLM movement

Jesus you are almost too stupid for words.  First of all, China absolutely said shut the fuck up and dribble and he did.  Try another avenue.  Michael Rapaport is goods friends with many current NBA players.  Is a hyper-democrat, and has stated publicly from conversations with current players that Lebron is THE MOST FAKE player/person in the NBA.  He sticks his finger in the air to get a feel for what he should protest or support next.  This is coming from current players calling him on his bullshit, so maybe take this deflection bullshit somewhere else for a player that inserts himself into this shit and then cries foul when pushed on it.

Lol you feckless cowards are so desperate to not talk about how racial inequality fuels social unrest that you run away from your own circlejerk/celebration thread on summer riots and protests and try to change the conversation to *checks notes* fucking china and hong kong???

Completely missing the sweet, sweet irony of 1) attacking lebron for being complicit and not speaking out about the injustices inflicted upon HK, and 2) tacitly supporting the HK protests and riots to protect their equality and democracy, while explicitly opposing protests and riots here in the US in favor of racial equality and equal protection under the law

Reading this thread makes me want to off myself. It’s just like politics in this country. If you don’t support a group/party in everything they do and say then you are a liberal, racist, nazi, kkk member, communist, Marxist, socialist, bible thumping nut job. Everything isn’t black and white. Most shit is grey. A group can have great intentions and still have bad members who do bad things and those bad members should be called out.

Racist.

See how stupid that sounds?

So you're saying the there should be zero citizen oversight of police use of force, because the citizens aren't the ones "confronting criminals"? It sounds like you have the same cognitive bias as cops to the conclusion that cops primarily interact with criminals, rather that innocent (until proven guilty) citizens.

Jesus fucking Christ. You’ve become as unbearable as captainant. That isn’t what I said and it isn’t what I meant. You can read into it what whatever you want. I guess if you ever have children you will just scream at them when they don’t do what you want them to. You’ll make a great parent. Probably should have CPS called on you. Agreed!

History doesn't repeat, it rhymes.

So we don't have carbon copies of 1960s people in 2020 America, but we do have their rhymes. We have their characters reimagined for the 2020 version of the movie.

In that movie, which character are you?

Sure, that's true.

A true middle-of-the-road type would be seeing all sides and providing balanced commentary. You'd look through their statements and see a healthy mix of posts critical of BLM tactics and critical of anti-BLM tactics and critical of police tactics. A middle-of-the-road person wouldn't be constantly quoting social media grifters and pot-stirrers.

I think that's all fair. Agree/Disagree?

So what if you had someone who was rarely critical of BLM (often defensive on their behalf), somewhat critical or rioters/looters, and highly critical of anti-BLM and police? You wouldn't call that person "middle-of-the-road not really taking a side" with a straight face. (Me, obviously, right?)

And what if you had someone who was rarely critical of police/anti-BLM (often defensive of their behalf) and highly critical of BLM and rioters/looters? Would THAT person be considered "middle-of-the-road not really taking a side"?

Because that's the version of reality that hate and baba yaga and onboard and myriad others are trying to sell right now.

(And before the whining begins, all we have to do is read and count posts. It's no more complicated than that. Read and count the posts.)

I think the point was that if the right entity tells LeBron to shut up an dribble he will.  but maybe it was just that he didn't really care about what was going on in Hong Kong. which is of course, fine.

Yes. The purpose is to tear down every single person who loudly and actively advocates for black equality in a way that offends their sensibilities. Always has been and always will be.
