We lost to this team. lol

It's fucking wild Texas may end the season with four top-10 wins but not make the playoffs because we lost to fucking shitass Florida.

Just keep this in mind for all the old folks who cry about "the way it was", that "every game used to matter" and "the playoffs and NIL ruined college football". Until this weekend Vanderbilt and UVirgina were in the hunt for a conference championship and playoff appearance. A single Texas loss to Florida, even winning out but certainly at 9 wins, very well could be the variance between playoffs and bowl.

There is more parity and opportunity for all sorts of teams than ever before and every single game counts now. (Unless of course you're ND) Letting coastal mediots and coaching assistants decide which blue blood was the best team in the nation was WAY better.

Edit - this isn't to at all claim there aren't issues with the current system. That Memphis was more likely in than Texas prior to this weekend is complete bullshit, for example.

Vanderbilt won. They’re still very much in the CFP race.

The CFP format is much better. I like the parity. Just mad Texas may have stepped on their own dick one too many times by season’s end to make it, even though they might have four very good wins.

Hah.. it was early brain malfunctioning. But yeah I agree. It's frustrating and I won't rehash or beat the fully decomposed horse corpse but I hold 1 person responsible for the loss to UF that shouldn't havr happened and it's not a player.
