If they are going more aggressive in the portal this year, that means shedding some good players that are being replaced. Players like Wisner/Lafeu/Livingstone aren't going to hang around when they are being pushed down the depth chart and aren't making starter $'s.

Compare how they play full-throttle all game to how Sark's teams played in year five.Indiana is ahead 38-3 and Cignetti looks pissed at his defense. It took Cignetti less than two seasons to build this team. Sark is finished with year five and it's a mess with excuses about babysitting coaches, no featured running backs, and wide receivers who can't catch. But it's the defenive coach's fault. Glad we got that cleared up.But trust in the process with Sark.We need to give him another five-to-seven years so he can really implement his program and come up with a new slogan.Every fan base wants Cignetti right now, one has him. Is what it is.

I highlighted the parts that are most instructional: "We were never supposed to be in this position, but by the glory of God, great teammates and great coaches around us, we were able to pull this off, and now the Hoosiers are flipping' champs. Let's go!IT'S THE RIGHT PLACE CAUSE WE'RE PROCESS-ORIENTED. We're going day-by-day. The offensive line, the defense, the coaches, the special teams. WE'RE ALL PROCESS-ORIENTED TO ONE GOAL. We're brothers, cause we know we're going to stick together to make the strongest glue ever." (ABOUT WR CHARLIE BECKER) "Charlie is incredible cause EVERY DAY THIS SUMMER AND EVERY DAY BEFORE PRACTICE WE THROW. AT 7AM ON SUNDAYS. DOING ROUTES. And now it's all coming to fruition. As well as our defense playing light's out, along with everybody. What an incredible moment." IMHO, that's what it takes to be exceptional in anything. I think Sark is capable of fielding a good team, but not an exceptional one with the attitude Mendoza illustrated for us. His teams are a reflection of him — they are, for various culture reasons, dispassionate. So yes, sadly, I want a new coach. ☹️

So I guess the answer is he wants a guy that literally no one thought would be where he is now. But we're Texas and we should be able to see the future. I guess we can consult his AI slop for the next head coach.

Maybe some donors that paid a lot but here's the dirty truth, you want to win anything going forward? You're going to have to pay until this stupid wild wild West gets settled by Congress or some other authority. Pay up or shut the fuck up.

He needs to decide whether he wants to be a head coach or a coordinator. He can do either at an elite level, but he can't do both.
