Football coaches are so bad and don’t understand situations. At that spot in the field, where you are right in the edge of makeable field goal range up by 4, on third and two you can’t call a play that can lead to a sack that takes you out of FG range. You just can’t. I like passing but you have to do a quick roll out and quick pass, not just go straight back in the pocket. So much unawareness of risks.

Not all of them are, and those are the ones who win.

Pollard wide open in the flat for a first if he stands up and throws

Actually the LB was getting out there...... and it's not even a play side read..... It's an outlet all the way on the other side.  Under 2 seconds before the rush gets there, that would have been an amazing play.  The other guys get paid too.  Steele got beat like a drum on a really good spin move.

It’s easy to watch from above and on TV and see the open guys on the opposite side and tell you who the QB “should have” thrown too.

Finally gave up a 3rd and long. Was parsons and Law rushing the passer? Jesus.

And once again the DB was 13 yards off. He has to be coached to do that right? No way he’s deciding to do that….I’ve seen him play man in the slot plenty of times.

If he making that decision wow.

Goff is throwing to a lot of wide open guys.
Frustrating.
At least contest these routes.
Yep he's playing easy pitch and catch all game. Detroit is playing tight on all our pass plays. That's 100% on Quinn. Why is Dallas obsessed with this pathetic soft zone defense where they just 7 to 8 yard reception you with ease to death down the field

Dallas has been figured out.  Their offense is impotent.  Their defense is very good but can be had on a few drives with a pounding running game. And with an offense this bad you don't need to make it work for much in the way of points.
What did people expect? They got rid of their best WR by far. A guy who commands double teams all game and is an excellent route runner. Look at the Packers without Adams. Huge drop off as well. Hard to be consistent on offense and put up big numbers without a legit threat out wide.

Pollard, how did you let that scrub chase you down?

That was pathetic...... I hate we can't run up between the tackles and get a half yard, but the real issue was on 2nd down when Pollard cut it up rather than just continuing outside and getting the first down.  It's part of being a smart player and it's not the first time Pollard's cost the teams possessions because he doesn't put his head down and get the first down rather than juking around.

It’s play calling. Simple as that. Even with Rush they had time where they could have opened it up and didn’t.

They run when they shouldn’t and then pass when they should run.

Saw that too. As soon as I saw him cut inside and get stopped it was like “whelp here comes a 3rd down stop”

I hate Kellen Moore at times.
Just at times? Boy wonder is a protege and a clone of Garrett. Both looked good very early in their 1st year. Were figured out and absolutely never adjusted at all. Have zero feel for the game and can't make good situational calls.

Kellen is pathetic at calling plays and his scheme is predictable and boring. All we do is run hitches and outs. Nothing that gives our players a chance to make plays after the catch.
