Definitely try the polar plunge, at least once. Just have towels and warm clothes ready as soon as you get out.

But stay in that "warm" feeling water for any length of time, you quickly realize, yeah, its still pretty fricking cold.

It would definitely be a jump in, swim around... ha ha look at me... F this let's go eat!

I've done it on an early February morning. Ages ago a buddy and I were doing an early morning run on the trail and he suggested/dared jumping in the pool so we  took the spur over from the creek bridge.

We stayed in for ~10 minutes (it felt super nice) knowing it was going to be cold as fuck when we got out. It was fun to do, but once was enough for me.

Man it was a lovely weekend all the way around.  Saw Ian Moore at Antone's on Friday, crawfish boil at my house on Saturday, and just hanging by the pool in the backyard all afternoon on Sunday.  Tremendous weather and even though it's supposed to get Africa-hot this week, I can't complain at all about how mild and pleasant this spring has been so far.

No doubt.  Had mother's day lunch out on the back patio yesterday... perfect weather to relax and enjoy the outdoors.  This morning was 53.  Glorious.  That all ends but still, it was a great start to the month.
