Miss St defeats Washington 11-10 to earn the right to face Canady and Tech.

Watching the game,  Alabama football Coach DeBoer was there.   His daughter is a freshman, 1B, led the team in hitting .363, 21 HR.

Yea, her best is behind her.

She was born on 3rd base. She is a good pitching coach and a terrible head coach. Tim Walton helped her land the LSU job and she has been mediocre at best there.

Correct. They'll need to beat Liberty twice to advance.

God has a dilemma today….does he punish the sheep fuckers or the Liberty Fightin’ Jerry Fallwells?

We’ll see what UCF pitching has left in the tank today after losing a back and forth affair with Michigan on Friday and getting hit around a bit by Michigan again yesterday. Michigan just ran out of pitching first.

Texas pen is rested and our offense destroyed Michigan pitching

Vega and Felton only threw a few more pitches than Teagan yesterday. Unfortunately EIU couldn't make them go 7. And they started P3# against UM. Hopefully having to go 3 days in a row in the heat will take it's toll.

Vega 39 and Felton 52 against EIU

Felton 33 and Vega 58 against Michigan

Felton got tagged for 4 ER against Michigan, Vega got tagged for 1

Vega also threw 79 on Friday (4 ER) and 20 for Felton

The general idea is that Vega and Felton have thrown in 4 straight games in the Austin heat.  And this is game 5.  176 pitches in the heat with minimal rest for Vega. 105 for Felton

I wouldn’t be surprised if Felton throws against Texas in game 1

I think they have to go with Vega. When it's do or go home you have to go with your best and then just hope they have a lot of luck in game 2. Texas can go with anyone, but I think it's best to go with Teagan. Why risk even going to a game 2? But if Sophia can do what she did yesterday I wouldn't mind seeing her mid game to throw them off for an inning or two, and then go back to Teagan, or to Cit. That would be really tough on their batters.

But please no brain dead base running errors and minimize the fielding errors.

That Tennessee-Nebraska match up will be tasty is you like good pitching

Ou won 4 championships basically playing 8 Katie Stewarts and a very fast slap hitter in center- and great pitching.  But how many of them do you need to have for the offense to be an obvious advantage over the defense?

Way too many LOB

Everyone raved about Vega and now we are complaining about LOB and only 2 runs so far against a really good pitcher
