pretty sure tyrese halliburton is *not* the most overrated player in the nba.

I cannot understand how he could garner even one player having that opinion of him. Do they not watch how he orchestrates things for Indiana? He’s fun to watch and easily one of the best players in the league right now.

Players are so fucking dumb when it comes to every player vote.

Man Minny are some motherfuckers.

If I'm a Ws fan I'm already worried about Podz getting played off the floor in this series.

There was a whole lot of bitchassness in that vote.  He rubs other players the wrong way cause he talks a lot and his game looks a little weird.

Damn Pacers in the drivers seat now.

Yeah going home up 2-0 would take a pretty monumental collapse to lose

Anybody know what happened to Evan Mobley and Darius Garland, or when they'll be back?

Mobley twisted his ankle in the last game.   He should be back but will still be hampered.      They said Garland's injury would have him out a few weeks if it was the reg season so its just going to come down to how much pain he can tolerate and making sure he doesnt make it worse by playing

Wow, that sucks for the Cavs.

Everyone hates it when starters get injured in the playoffs.
Except maybe the opposing team.

Warriors essentially built their dynasty off that happening repeatedly

For an NBA player, the recovery time from a hamstring strain varies based on the grade of the strain:

  • Grade 1 (mild strain): 1–2 weeks

  • Grade 2 (moderate tear): 3–6 weeks

  • Grade 3 (severe tear or complete rupture): 8+ weeks, potentially requiring surgery

In real NBA terms:

  • Players with Grade 1 strains sometimes miss just a couple of games.

  • Grade 2 strains often cause players to miss 2–4 weeks or more, depending on severity and caution.

  • Grade 3 is rare but season-altering if it happens.

Teams are conservative with hamstring injuries due to the high re-injury risk—especially with the explosive movement and sprinting in basketball.

Want examples of real NBA players and their return timelines?

Karma is a bitch.   Go Wolves, go Ant.

Happy Amazon GIF by The Boys

Still plenty of time in this series for some theatrics

Still got Jimmy on the roster. I would not wave the white flag just yet as long as he is healthy. Losing Steph sucks, but Butler is nails in situations like this.

C'mon now. This roster just isn't built to compete without Steph. The only hope is to figure out a way to hold onto this one, punt Game 2, then hope Steph can give you 80% by Saturday.

nothings worse than when your team is playing like absolute shit and stan van gundy repeats all of the obvious bullshit out of his fat mouth

"Absolute shit" yeah you wish.

That's the worst half of offensive basketball in the playoffs I've ever seen.

Wolves look like they are not taking warriors seriously and like they feel they can flip the switch when needed.

Hubris and reading their own hype coverage.

Their D was phenomenal though.

I seriously have no idea what's going on with their O.

good lord, i’ve been watching baseball and i check the box score to see that draymond is 4-6 from deep while Ant is 0-8 from the field?

Barkley ragging on Gobert and saying he can't be out there because he's unable to contest Green's 3s...uhhh, you mean the threes that teams have happily, purposely, consistently given him for 12 years?

It's a tough matchup for Rudy because it pulls him into actions no where near the basket, not because it leaves Draymond open from the top of the key. Jesus, this is pretty basic stuff.

Wolves fans were killing them for ragging on Gobert.

He was pretty good in that 1H unlike most of the rest of them.

Seen way too much of Playoff Jimmy. Until he loses 4 games in a series I will never count that dude out. I think he also never let go of animosity towards the Wolves franchise from when he was there. I would count on a pretty good 2nd half from him on both ends.

It's time to start having the convo of "Tyrese Halliburton might actually be pretty nice".

Golden State's defense has been really, really good (they ain't the Lakers)...but, holy shit, I have no idea whatsoever what Minnesota's offensive gameplan is. Attempt a bunch of contested 3s and awkward distance floaters?

He's definitely nice. He had some shooting woes last year post ASG that were related to I think a wrist injury and a lot of folks held it against him. He is also one of the top shit talkers in the league, which can be pretty fun. He has guys on absolute skates these days, no one can stay in front of him. If he's hitting from outside he's... Really good.
