Didn't they modify the double contact rule again?  It's legal on first contact and  (something else?).

I'm not sure but when it happened the entire Louisville fan section was doing the " Six Seven" hand motion

Getting a call on the obvious lift and the obvious double (wtf?) earlier woulda been nice, and probably woulda been pretty huge, but yeah, they fight hard with their backs to the wall.

aggy may have gotten away with a double contact or lift on that marathon point

Obvious lift, by Lednicky iirc.

The only time a double contact costs a point is if it's on the contact that sends it over the net. The idea being there's no advantage if the double contact is on the first or second hit on the attacking team's side of the net.

KU being treated like when Penn State visited Lincoln

Or when Nebraska visited Rec Hall in Happy Valley.

Frankly, this is how Nebraska has treated almost everyone. They look so much better than everyone else. Morrison is going to have to bring out a measuring tape and help the Aggie players figure out the dimensions of the court and the height of the net.

I really do not like Corn or their fans.

Agree...    2023 after losing 3-0 to TEXAS

"Yeah I think we're gonna win 3 National Championships the next 3 years"                       Harper Murray --  9 minute mark

Nebraska volleyball press conference after losing to Texas in the National Championship (2023)

Nov 2024

Then CORN has tough 5 Set loss in December 2024 Semi's

The double I referred to earlier was sent across, iirc on the second contact, spinning wildly. Completely mangled. Can't remember if it was set 4 or 5 though. The Lednicky thing l;ooked like about as obvious of a lift as I've seen. Right under the up ref.

Yeah, I wasn't arguing about the call. My bad I didn't make that clear. I was just clarifying the rule change.

Isn't Murray the trollop that got caught shoplifting or some such thing?

We just want Harper Murray to be happy.

KU's block is almost nonexistent. How the fuck did they win 24 games?

Big 12 sucked

All good! I didn't think you were disputing it either. I was just clarifying/specifying what I meant earlier. 👍🤘

aggy’s block against Corn will be something. Jackson and Cos-Okpalla may be the 2 of the top 3 blockers in the country. At least both top 5

Late game in Austin - ABC wants the #1 seed for a reason

I haven't really watched Nebraska yet until now. Damn they're good. Monster kills and crazy good defense.

They're a complete team. About the only weakness is that their right side isn't dominant. But they have the best middle blocking, most diverse attack, two good to great pins, a really good back row defense, an outstanding setter, and they're one of the best serving teams in the country.

Texas/Wisconsin is probably the biggest premier matchup you could draw up in terms of television ratings that doesn't involve Nebraska. And Nebraska would dwarf that matchup in numbers even if the roles were reversed and Texas/Wisconsin was on ABC with Nebraska on ESPN. The television ratings they pull are astronomical. I believe every person living in Nebraska, everyone who has ever lived in Nebraska, and every person whose parents or grandparents went to Nebraska shifted their identity at some point from the moribund football program to volleyball.

Which still only equals about a million people, but they all turn on the TV set when the Cornhuskers play.

It appears it's pretty certain we're playing them next year. I'm curious what the venue ends up being.
