I don’t know how you can watch BYU and Utah and think that the Big XII is a two bid league at all.

No one should think this. Tech should get the only bid. BYU and Utah should go join that ridiculous new version of the PAC-12. BYU has played one good team the entire season and they got embarrassed. Utah gave up 47 today to one of the worst K-State teams since the heyday of the Ron Prince era.

I hated seeing him leave Army, but I understood it.

Like seeing Kanye Udoh score for Sparky!

Wish Udoh had a better season statistically this year. The offense was a mess most of the year with Leavitt being injured for a good chunk of it and then having to let Sims take the snaps after that. I will give the guys credit for being 8-3 when they could’ve folded the tent early in the year. This is a better coaching job by Dillingham and the staff than last year’s run was. If he wins the Arizona game and whatever exhibition game we get sent to play in he will have a team that goes 10-3. Dillingham is worth twice what he is getting paid.

Ron Prince was a good coach [/Mack Brown, probably]

Well shit. Just got home. Congrats @PittsburghTiger You cant spot a team three touchdowns and expect to win.

That said, every GT fan would have taken 9-2 going into dwag this year. Four years ago we were a perennial 3-win team.

Pretty crazy how we jumped on Tech. After last week nobody saw that happening. Nobody. I think one of the big keys was our LB group. When healthy I think they are the best in the nation. They’ve been banged up but everyone was playing yesterday.

When Mason has time to throw he is very good. And our backfield is talented. It was a huge win for us, one I did not see coming. The Lovelace INT for a TD saved Duzz’s dumbass. It was a great read by him, pretty much the same thing James Harrison did against the Cardinals in the Super Bowl.

I think both teams are in a good spot. We both have missed opportunities that will bother us all winter and into the summer.

Been meaning to ask, but Pitt + Auburn seems to be a rather incongruous, if not bizarre combo.  Unless you're an engineer.

As an SMU alumnus, let me just personally thank @PittsburghTiger for his team's absolutely exquisite performance.

Ha Ha. I had a bunch of people talking about how we needed this & that to happen. I shut them all down. I said, let’s just do what we can control and worry about everything else after. The Louisville game, up 17-0 in the 1st qtr, and double-digits in the 4th, is the one that really still pisses me off. I just wanted to beat Tech and take away some of the shit from last week. If it helps someone else, so be it.

Dad was USAF. I was born at Maxwell. My siblings were born at Goodfellow & Lackland. Dad also worked at MD Anderson for a spell.

Dad grew up up here and Mom wanted to stay in San Antonio but, Dad was an only child so he moved us up here. And I ended up following his side of the family, Pitt undergrad and Pitt medical school, I didn’t do the medical school but went to writing. Auburn is the only other school I would have attended. I have always been an AU fan. Had we stayed in the South that’s where I would have gone. My brother has always been a Texas fan although he did Pitt for grad school.

I will tell you that even though Pitt & AU are much different the fan experience is much the same, excruciating heartache surrounded by moments of brilliance.

Texas has always been my #3 team that I pull for.
