Denver, Indianapolis, New England, and Pittsburgh are your AFC division leaders 11 weeks into the season.

Just as everyone predicted.

Why was that an unsportsmanlike penalty?

you can't do anything with the goalpost or the pylons.  It was a completely selfish play and stupid but these are football players we are talking about.

He’s going to have to put in a ton of work to become an NFL QB. Like others have said his tendency to hold on to the ball too long will get him hurt. He’s going to have to really throw under pressure, not just on the run. It will be interesting to see if he can, or is willing to, do the work. Looking good throwing while wearing a t-shirt and shorts is pretty much the opposite of throwing when some 235-pound LB is about to plant you in the turf.

Holy shit. Dan Campbell needs a fuckin intervention. Enough with this madness.

Lol he's such a fucking idiot. He did the same thing in the NFC championship game up 14. Could have taken the FG, went up 3 scores but nope. Missed it and immediately SF took momentum and never looked back. It was cute at first but his style is going to hinder Detroit to do anything. If he just took the FG when they were inside the 5, it would still be a one score game.

He's balls to wall, full throttle and has no idea how to adjust to the game unfolding. This isn't the defense to go for it constantly. But he's a meat head aggy

I like the Lions losing, but that's a horribad call.   Basically corrupt.

This makes me think of the famous Benny Barnes(Dallas Cowboys) fake call that helped the Steelers in the Super Bowl one of those times.  Literally nothing there.  Both calls were for the team leading at the time.  Neither team needed the help.  Eagles were winning last night.  Steelers were going to beat the Cowboys.

Glad Collinsworth did not hesitate to call it out.

so, I looked at the box score.  Barkley evidently needed more yards to get the over. I saw that the U/O was 72.5.  He finished with 83 yards.  Just watching the highlights, Barkley gained 8 yards after the penalty on a 3rd and 8 with 57 seconds left on the clock.   Not 100% rigged, but pretty close to evidence Barkley needed a bit more yards to get the over.
