On a side note, I am astounded at the amount of people who still have AOL email addresses.

It's gonna take a little longer for the last of their customers to die off.

Worth a tertiary look.

The hilarious thing is it was actually a good read, if he throws it to the maroon space between the top of the A and S (preferrably a little more S side) it probably gets caught for a TD as 0 and 31 were not in a position post collision to get there.  But inaccurate QB gonna inaccurate QB.

quick survey of texags and they are very very quiet

maybe it's the holiday week

a few threads of hate but this is the lowest traffic i can ever recall

this may have broken them

Not to do a stolen valor thing, but I really think it was the Texas game that broke them, and I mean long term broke them. They've always bragged on how loud their stadium is, and let's face it, as Texas fans we can a little lackadaisical at times. Even when I was a student, when Royal was coaching, I have NEVER seen the Horns have a game atmosphere like that one. Those fuckers got gob smacked and walked out with their tails between their legs. Inevitability GONE! Invincibility GONE! You could sense it in their smack talk after the game. It just didn't have the usual aggy delusion.

I like your analysis. Just not sure I can fully agree with the conclusion.

It’s their core, soul-level identity to believe that all their ridiculous, delusional beliefs will eventually carry the day - you know, instead of actual real world acceptance, hard work, intellectual honesty, and self awareness. They may be stunned, but they will only come back stronger, and dig in harder. Because that’s been the problem so far - they just haven’t believed hard enough. Which in turn perpetuates the cycle of falling short.

It really is an amazing cultural phenomenon. And it will never end. Just on ongoing downward spiral.

Personally, I think it’s one of truly awesome things in the world.

Alabama 2022 was sustained louder than aggy a few weeks back.

Well, aside from the folks - including some of their players - talking about how they were about to go on a NC playoff run.

They are quiet because they are embarrassed—finally.

They had:

- the ranking

- the record

- FatElk coaching

- josh pate and others media members slobbering all over them

- “heisman” QB

- pieces all around them

- home playoff game leading into a defacto home game for the quarterfinals

- and most importantly—the schedule

They should have lost to Souf Carolina but manufactured that comeback as part of their destiny and journey instead of looking at that game as a warning sign. Then they just knew they were going to beat us and beat us bad in our own stadium. The result? Fat ass L on their record. So they knew they couldn’t lose to Miami or they would be rightfully called frauds this morning.

So they are quiet because they are finally realizing what we (Texas fans) have been preaching since the middle of the season—A&M was overrated and were propped up because of the SEC schedule they were given. They weren’t a great team; instead, they were a mediocre to good team.

Should've taken a bump and a shower, would have been fine.

He needed John Goodman’s character from “Flight”, who got Denzel ready for court after Denzel wrecked the mini-bar.

Or just call whoever propped up Charlie Sheen for the run of Two And A Half Men.

Great scene.  Great movie, even though it was absurdly unrealistic.
