Not sure where to put this.  Comic, yes, but in a sad way.  Oklahoma? Yes, but not really football.  And I'm not starting a cockfighting thread.  Or gamefowl.  Whatever.

Tough call…a Boebert handy and a pizza, well that’s a pretty good Tuesday.

A taco Tuesday pun was sitting there wide open downfield and you dumped it off to the running back.

If any of yall have any doubt that the endgame is a Christofascist Christian nationalist state…read the comments.

I am halfway through the book "The Kingdom, the Power and the Glory" and what I've read so far is great. It's an expose of what many of us  encountered growing up in evangelical families in Texas. The hypocrisy and the elevation of country over Jesus' teachings. Mixing politics and religion. I believe Christ was very clear about giving to Caesar what is Caesar's and I hope you know the rest.

As someone said (unsure of the source) "Our parents spent decades warning us of the antichrist. Then when he shows up they can't wait to line up to vote for him."

It's funny but it's also sad that Trump couldn't write a book to save his children's lives.  Tony Schwartz, who wrote "The Art of the Deal" has confessed now that the royalty stream has dried up, that of all the books he's ghostwritten, that Trump had by far and away the least contribution.  He literally gave Tony a list of names to definitely include in the book (for sucking-up purposes) and a list of names to definitely leave out of the book no matter how important Tony thought they were to the outline (for people he felt had slighted him).  He has also spoken in literary circles about his suspicion that Trump is well below average in intelligence and may does not read books or newspapers.  Not because he didn't have the time pre-White House, but because he has a difficult time comprehending prose and/or articles.  The light bulb went off for Tony when he would give chapters to Trump to edit, and Trump would literally just scan them with his finger looking for proper names and that's it, leaving no notes or modifications.  It was confirmed years later when Trump proudly proclaimed that watching TV and dealing only in social media was an asset, not a liability.  Tony realized his private suspicion was true and that Trump couldn't even really read that effectively off a teleprompter.  And we've seen volumes of evidence to support this.

There is a growing theory that a Trump presidential library will never come to fruition.  There are certainly plenty of things he signed off on and correspondence sent to him.  Enough to fill a proper library wing.  But that he, himself, didn't really write out very much because he can't really structure multi-paragraph narratives as has every single other president in our history.  There's just not much there.  He'll pivot it into a point of pride "NARA won't allow us to give Americans the access of the greatest administration since Lincoln like they deserve!"  But the fact is other than the standard bill signings and autographs, he doesn't really read or write at an adult level.  Even in Florida, which is really saying something.

Oh, I don't know... He's still got time to finish coloring in all the pictures in his books.
