I just don’t know how this still happens… many, many fuckups for something like this to occur

No kidding.  Save all your group celebrating for when the war is over.  Awards should be given one on one, then quietly whispered up and down the line.

i’m not sure how many storm shadow and flamingo missiles they have, but now would be a good time to fire 75% of them at every energy producing facility Russia has.  Russians don’t care how many troops die. They only care about their own needs. Let’s fuck with their needs.

Russians still haven't figured out that really slow river crossings are ripe for drones

Right out of a movie.  Or the Battlestar Galactica 2004 TV series.

Angelina Jolie reportedly visits front-line regions in southern Ukraine

Quote

American actress Angelina Jolie has reportedly visited southern Ukraine, with several local media outlets on Nov. 5 sharing piecemeal details about her visit.

Jolie reportedly visited children in war-torn Kherson, a regional capital that faces daily attacks from Russian drones and artillery fired from across the Dnipro River.

Photos circulating online show Jolie wearing a bulletproof vest with a patch from the Legacy of War Foundation, a UK-registered non-profit tasked with aiding civilians during war.

The photos show Jolie playing with children in what appears to be an underground shelter. The photos match a shelter in Kherson that local media reported on in the beginning of 2025.

An associate of Strelkov, the Russian fascist Maxim Kalashnikov, appears to have regained his senses, admitting that the Russians have failed in the “cause of their forefathers” and that a generation of young Ukrainians driven by revenge and a desire to reclaim what was lost will soon emerge. In essence, he laments that “We couldn’t kill them all, and now they’ll come for payback".

Incredible

The First Separate Medical Battalion of Ukraine has completed an unprecedented evacuation mission using a ground robotic vehicle equipped with an armored capsule.

The operation involved rescuing a wounded defender who had remained in enemy-controlled territory for 33 days after being injured. Six previous attempts to extract him had failed, with six robotic systems lost in the process. The seventh mission finally succeeded, allowing the soldier to be evacuated from the occupied area.

On its way, the robotic platform triggered an anti-personnel mine, damaging one of its wheels, yet it continued its mission. During the return, the vehicle came under attack from a Russian drone, but the armored capsule protected the wounded soldier, preventing further injuries.

In total, the robotic system covered 64 kilometers, including 37 kilometers on a damaged wheel.

The evacuee was delivered to safety, provided with medical care, and is now in stable condition — his life is out of danger.

And then... Yeah, no reason to have award ceremonies that are announced.

Elite Ukrainian soldiers killed during award ceremony — The Telegraph

A Russian missile struck an award ceremony in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region on November 1, killing members of elite Ukrainian military units.

According to The Telegraph, the strike hit a site where Ukrainian troops had gathered for the event. Among the dead were drone operators and infantrymen from the 35th Separate Marine Brigade.

Ukrainian journalist Dmytro Svyatnenko said that his brother, a 43-year-old “elite drone operator” who had fought in Krynky, Kurakhove, Maryinka, and Krasnohorivka, was among those killed.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the attack and said an investigation is underway. Preliminary reports suggest negligence in organizing the event may have contributed to the tragedy.

While the official death toll remains undisclosed, Suspilne cited witnesses saying at least eight soldiers were killed and 40 wounded, with six still missing.

“Most likely, we were betrayed. The missile hit about 15 minutes after the ceremony was supposed to start. We were standing about 100 meters away from the torches. Suddenly, an Iskander hit the spot where the ceremony was to be held. We heard nothing — just a massive explosion. One guy’s leg was shredded, another’s shoulders. We were lucky to be waiting off to the side. Everyone near the torches — gone,” a Ukrainian soldier told reporters anonymously

Well-informed channel Dosye Shpiona confirms: On the evening of Nov 5, Ukraine struck a major Geran-2 (Shahed) drone base at Donetsk airport with cruise missiles and drones. An ammo depot, fuel storage, and pre-launch prep site were destroyed. Power and comms nodes damaged. Up to 1,000 drones and 1,500 warheads were reportedly on site.
