  1. Past hour
  2. twins will be picking some of that contract. they hit a certain % and it's attractive to the astros
  3. Anyone else’s audio all fucked up tonight? Choppy as shit. Oh well, hopefully Derek is getting crushed on whatever gay Challenge boards are out there.
  4. We already own Correa merch. Merch, when at the time, now has nostalgia to it. There are only X amount of home games left, the 30+ million Correa is owed (for the next 5ish years) makes no business common sense. His athletic/clubhouse arbitrary value does not bring dollars to the team.
  5. They better teach Arch to slide or the season's over if he gets hurt
  6. the same people who buy merch at the ballpark? he's no Seth Beer
  7. Ballard s1 was damn good
  8. How many people under 50 here get that reference?
  9. He's good, but he's not Korey Lee good.
  10. Who is buying new Correa merch?
  11. The baseball side is what makes less sense, but it makes ABSOLUTE 1000% SENSE from a business/marketing perspective. Correa is still popular with most Astros fans despite leaving for the bag.
  12. Soooooo everyone digs in their closets and finds their old Correa jersey? Cool. Math don’t math up.
  13. Lincoln Mountain at Mammoth apparently has a massive eruptive potential too. But yes, the Yellowstone caldera could be another nuclear winter.
  14. Can't fix stupid white trash.
  15. Saying something will happen that, get this, will happen, is merely a means to gloat? You might not have a sense of responsibility to others, but, I assure you, many people do.
  16. billfromlaketravis is a crack reporter. if he posted it, it's true.
  17. You know there's a huge contingent of Astros fans that remember and and
  18. I'm surprised that no surly poster has bitched yet about how great Twine Palmer is and how we gave away too much.
  19. Correa makes no business sense. What would be the business incentive for bringing Correa back? So I can now wear my 2017 Correa jersey again? No new merch sales at all would happen. Not at least 30 million per year. Hard pass.
  20. So, like I said above, nothing changes with those guys, and they'll always be around no matter what. But in the meantime, a whole lot more people who don't know shit about their cars won't know they have dangerous issues with them because they won't be getting inspections.
  21. Between arch's run threat, the more physical interior oline and Chad Scott+Neal Brown (and what they did at wvu), it seems extremely likely our run game will be much improved.
  22. Naw, that’s what the ladders over the fences were for.
