  1. Past hour
  2. Clark came in the more heralded back, but Simon looked much better to me too. I feel good about the RB's. We can win the NC with this group. We can win the NC with this defense, TE's, punter, kicker, and return game. We can win the NC with this OL (maybe). We just need Sark to call better plays and Arch to stop throwing at people's feet.
  3. whataboutism is their fucking religion.
  4. whynotboth.gif - beer fence!
  5. Gonna boo these mariner jackasses
  6. The '60s is wondering what's taking so long.
  7. Sark not wanting QBs to run is just so fucking stupid. Watch nfl, it’s a necessity Mack doing a complete offensive change because of 1 game probably tanked Gilbert
  8. Why are you bringing up Clemson? They finished 16th in rush defense in the ACC last year (out of 17 teams) and 85th in the nation. That was a terrible rush defense. By the way, Texas A&M finished 11th in rush yards per play allowed in the SEC. Both of those defenses were below average in their conference (Clemson being horrific). My point was not that the OL was terrible at running the ball the last few years, it was that they have not been physical. They are screeners and ran outside zone. That type of blocking can struggle in short yardage situations, because they do not move people. You also need to be athletic and have RBs with great vision to run it successfully. Texas is migrating away from outside zone to gap blocking this year. That requires a more physical mindset and moving people. As you probably saw I sounded the alarm about the OL watching the OSU game. Since then, I have seen this OL struggle to run vs SJSU and UTEP. It is early, so things can change but I have my reservations about this run game. I was just talking about how much I loved watching Simon vs UTEP. He ran for 3.9 per carry and averaged 4.2 yards after contact. Imagine what Simon would have looked like if the OL gave him a couple yards before contact, instead of slightly behind the LOS. To be honest, I did not think saying the OL lacked physicality would be controversial. It is odd to me, because the DL is really physical and has been for 3 years or so.
  9. AKA, do the same thing the right has been doing for a decade. They changed the rules. It's time the left started playing by them.
  10. lol how some of you bootlickers try to spin that should be interesting
  11. The left NEEDS to take a dark turn, Ezra.
  12. Yeah. This week is the only week that the UCL & Europa don’t overlap. Next week Europa plays. From matchweek 2 on, both leagues play the same week.
  13. THIS is where we're at with the Administration using Kirk's murder as a fulcrum for their crackdown We're probably at the point of this being a different topic, but it's being done in Kirk's name and under the guise of """never again"""

  15. I don't think i ever remember coming into a cupcake game pre conference and hoping for A Drive. A well thrown pass. Like just. Something. Texas 40 SHSU 10
  16. The only hope is this administration, as evil as they are, are so incompetent they fall on their own faces and give an opportunity to change. That said, after 2024, I have zero faith in the American people to work together to change anything for the better. Even with the horrendous economy we have now, that is only getting worse, we have millions of people actively celebrating hatred and refusing to blame this administration. This admin has screwed things up so badly it looks exactly like intentional sabotage of the American economy. In reality, it's a venture capital government that doesn't care about anything but maxing their own profits by bleeding the country dry of all of it's assets and access to debt.
  17. this is fine
  18. Democrats already have suburban moms. Yes.
  19. i think if enough of us write in "fascism" as our reason, we can get it onto the official options list.
  20. Sadly, this is the actual answer I think. Nothing but the realization of pain, across a wide swathe of the population, will deprogram the cult. Or at least get enough non-voters to pay attention.
  21. RPI Futures currently has Texas to finish #2 with a 21-2 record and the #1 SOS. #1 is Nebraska, who they predict will lose 1 match, with the #5 SOS The committee loves RPI and the predicted top 4 finishers are Nebraska, Texas, Pitt and Stanford Kentucky 5, Louisville 6, Creighton 7, TCU 8, Wisconsin 9 (nice little run of teams we play/beat), SMU 11, ASU 17, Tennessee 21, Florida 24, aggy 26, Mizzou 27, Baylor 33 They have aggy going 17-8, which would be awful considering how upperclass that roster is....
  22. You aren't winning the suburban moms with that. Perhaps you could be more specific. What do you want to burn?
  23. I'm just thinking unofficial QB coach... help him get his mechanics under control. If he's not technically a position coach, I don't think he has time restrictions with Arch.
