My brother in law is an obnoxious tee-shirt OU fan. He went to UCO or whatever it is up in Edmund but runs his mouth about “Texass” or the “whorns” every chance he gets. He also has an online master’s from Florida. (Incidentally, I came across free tickets to the Miami/Florida game in the swamp in either 07 or 08 - I believe it was the same night a dude got a handjob on a mountainside in El Paso during the Texas/UTEP game out there, but I could be wrong. I was in Gainesville for three days, and that’s three days more than my brother in law has spent on that campus.) He has gotten real fair-weathered with OU recently and has decided to jump on the Florida bandwagon, so my hatred for both OU and this insufferable ass hole gets transferred to the Gators. GatorMarc, you seem like an upstanding guy, but I kind of hope your whole team gets dysentery the night before our game and we hang triple digits on you.
  3. Ok. This. This is full on trying to rewrite history. To be fair, winners write the history books and we are letting this motherfucker win. Shit like this seems dumb and small to most people (who even hear about it), but this is the beginning. This end with people dying.
  4. My first thought on reading “Gehenna” was when I played World of Warcraft years ago and the first big dungeon has a boss called Gehennas that throws fire all over the place. Seems appropriate to use that in describing this diner. https://www.wowhead.com/classic/npc=12259/gehennas
  5. Yeah, not a strike. Then again Joc already got his on-base quota for this series with the walk.
  6. Certainly not like a monarch. Maybe we should hit up the British and remind them about what they did in the War of 1812.
  7. Nice AB, Joc. Can we launch him into the sun yet? "I know I'm hitting .122 on the season but maybe the two-time defending MLB leader in K to BB ratio walks me again"
  8. "No respect. No respect at all!" Lulz.
  9. M/a/w. And, although it was a misinterpretation on my part, in this instance, "w" stands for whore.
  10. Says Scottie does this sometimes on chipping... steeper angle of attack on chips & likes driving his chips. Video with comments from Smylie explains... link below https://www.msn.com/en-us/video/sports/smylie-kaufman-explores-jordan-spieths-new-chipping-technique/vi-AA1yV1GR?ocid=socialshare

  12. Bats need to wake up because we aren't getting 5 from this dude today.
  13. dj campbell gonna fuck his shit up.
  14. Espada has got to be orgasmic right now. the amount of lineup mutations he was just gifted today with these three acquisitions?!?!
  15. The one fucking thing you can't do, bro. Congrats.
  16. Well good news because it sounds like the ohio state kid is gonna be alright. Expect him to be a starter week 1
  17. Also we didn’t give up shit besides money for 3 guys that immediately raise the floor with one that could be the biggest asset we’ve traded for since Verlander in 2017. Verlander had 3.86 era in Detroit and came here and had a 1.06 era. I’m hoping for the same thing with Carlos.
  18. In the past I’d agree wholeheartedly. At this point, I am less sure of that. Damn. What’s wrong with me.

I love love love Texas style brisket. If there were one of those "you could only eat one thing the rest of your life" situations it would either be brisket or well seasoned fried chicken. I've got one of Aaron Franklin's books and I make his rub recipes for all of my smoking, though I admit I have only tackled brisket once myself. I usually take the easy way out with pork butt.
  20. Spiethcoaster shoots 65 today... -5 Jordan Spieth admits something that golf fans have known about him for years Story by Alex Myers 8h As far as Jordan Spieth rounds of golf go, Thursday was pretty tame. The three-time major champ only mixed in two bogeys with seven birdies to get off to a nice start at the Wyndham Championship. But after, he talked about one impressive par save in particular—and admitted something that golf fans have known about him for years. OK, let's head back to the par-4 18th hole at Sedgefield Country Club, which Spieth played as his ninth of the day. He went way left with his tee shot, then attempted—and kind of pulled off—a bold recovery shot over a creek that left him in a bunker up near the green. And then he got up and down thanks to draining a 15-foot curler for par. Here's how this mini adventure played out on Shot Tracker: And here's how it played out in real life: When asked about the great save, however, Spieth said he didn't really do anything great until the putt. And that his second shot wasn't the smartest decision. But, basically, he just can't help himself in those decisions. "I ended up in a pretty bad spot, definitely could have punched out and probably had a good look and that probably should have been in play," Spieth told reporters before dropping this truth bomb: "It's just really hard for me to play the smart play if I see anything else." 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Gee, you don't say, Jordan. "I didn't mean to hit it in the bunker," Spieth continued. "I walked away with a 4 that I truly didn't deserve. I hit a great putt and that was the only shot that I could say was a really good one on that hole." But he did make a 4. Like the old saying goes, there are no pictures on the scorecard. Well, if you don't count the PGA Tour app. Anyway, Spieth usually not making the smart, safe play is what golf fans love so much about him. Sometimes it doesn't work, but most of the time, he seems to get away with it. And no matter what happens, those daring choices are always entertaining. Never change, Jordan.
