  2. The real story on his prior charges, not filtered through ICE or right-wing Twitter. https://www.ffxnow.com/2025/12/19/man-charged-with-murder-for-fatal-reston-shooting/ According to online court records, Morales-Ortez had previously been charged with six different crimes, though the charges were later dropped in each case. Among other cases, he was arrested in June 2020 as a 17-year-old for the June 23, 2019 murder of Jose Lorenzo Guillen Mejia, a 24-year-old Reston resident whose body was found on the footpath behind Hunters Wood Plaza. After more than a year in jail, Morales-Ortez was ultimately released from custody and the charges against him were dropped in 2021 when “it became clear that he was ultimately not the perpetrator,” Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office spokesperson Laura Birnbaum says. * * * Most recently, Morales-Ortez was arrested on Sept. 14 on charges of malicious wounding and brandishing for an incident that occurred two days earlier, online court records show. The charges were dropped on Dec. 15 — the day before this week’s fatal shooting — because prosecutors had “insufficient evidence to move forward” with the case, according to Birnbaum. “The victim told police that they had moved out of the country and would not be coming to court to cooperate in proceedings, regardless of timing,” she told FFXnow. “Sadly, without the victim’s necessary testimony, we could not move forward.” U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement told WJLA that it had sought to detain Morales-Ortez prior to the incident, claiming that he’s a native of El Salvador illegally residing in the United States. A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office told FFXnow that, without a court-issued warrant, the jail had no grounds to keep him in custody, but ICE could’ve picked Morales-Ortez up upon his release.
  3. And these two ended work from home . . .
  4. Local news reported KS will foot 70% of the <air> anticipated </quotes> $4B project cost. Fuck em.
  5. University of Georgia at Austin. Looks like we're about to fill up on OOS, hard hitting mf'ers. Now I wonder if we will get another RB from Florida or Georgia. Junior day can't get here soon enough.
  6. I bet that the taxpayers will be getting a real sweet deal on this one
  7. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/22/arts/vince-zampella-dead.html Vince Zampella, Formative Designer of Call of Duty Games, Dies at 55 Mr. Zampella co-founded two game studios and worked on the Medal of Honor, Titanfall, Apex Legends and Battlefield franchises. ^There is a video on YouTube which claims to be of the crash, of a Ferrari speeding and "doing stunts" and ramming front first at full speed into the side of a mountain.
  8. Half comes to an end and Texas leads 40-34. Maryland-ES is 6/12 from behind the arc and Texas is 4/15. Pope has all four and is 4/8 on treys missing his last two. Watching these kinds of games has just become a beating.
  9. Sydney Sweeny's breasts are ... I don't know, OK, I guess.
  10. Rejection is common, and its supposed to be pretty common. If their batting averages are about zero, then most of the time these average-ish guys are doing at least one thing wrong and could benefit from a frank evaluation of their approach
  11. Cavalry on a battlefield with FPV drones is the crowning achievement of Slav warfare.
  12. Endries and Klare have similar numbers, so I don't know what that will prove. He (Klare) had an easier schedule, better QB, yet his numbers aren't eye-popping. He did get 400 yards receiving, but only 2 TDs. His YAC is less than Endries even with him having over 100 yards more @ 10.4 yac, Endries had 11.1 yac with 300 yards and 2 TDs. But you also have to take into account that he was vying for catches with arguably the two best WR's in CFB, Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate. That would be difficult. The only TE's I see worth a pick are Stowers and Kenyon Sadiq, who respectfully had 500 yards and 8 TDs, while Stowers had 750 yards and 5 TD's. It looks like Stowers is the real deal considering he fucking killed us and has amazing hands. I don't know anything about the Ore TE, other than he has 3 more TD's but 250 less receiving yards. Ore does have a good WR in Malik Benson, so that's a solid 1-2 punch. Their RB, Whittingham is good, too. He won't be a star in the NFL, but he will be serviceable. Stowers is a stud. Whomever draft him will have a gem on their hands. He's a freak.
  13. I don't think we're making the tourney this year. And by tourny, I mean the NIT.
  14. Pop Pop getting no help tonight, he's going to have to dig deep. Needs a water bottle of Geritol.
  15. 6 point game at the half. How the hell did Georgia beat this team by 65?
  16. That was easy too.
  17. This, a very poor decision.
  18. DJ did that a lot, then the defense just kind of went away from it, like turnovers were undesirable.
  19. Should’ve just kept Terry round instead of eating all that money.
