Charvarius Ward for Indy knocked himself out in pregame workouts.

That's called lack of self-awareness. He needs to visit TexAgs.

Ou thought they were going to trot Mateer out their like Willis Reed, kick our ass on their way to this magical Heisman season. Instead they found out they aren't any good. BV looked like he wanted to crawl under a rock.

Arch Manning: Doing his best JAG impression to fool scouts
William Bludworth replied to LTtxfan's topic in Football
Only on Surly can we beat ou and literally the next day we go back to arguing. Only here. I'm gonna go see if Asswater has checked his messages, he needs to see this to believe it. We are the weirdest, emotional fan base in the country. Even a win against our rival can't make peace. -
“On Fanduel you can customize your same day parlays” x100 fuck off sports gambling. Get out of my face.

We have always had a decent amount of absolute shit 'fans' and this thread is Exhibit A. I'm 11-16-1 in that stadium. Can't fathom nitpicking a 17 point W against OU.

I'll take condescending tolerance. We in the lower percentiles are not proud.

This assumes there is a WR running a short route and he can check down to it. That was not always the case in the Florida game. -
John Candy: I Like Me (a documentary)
billfromlaketravis replied to South Austin's topic in Movies and TV
I enjoyed it. Candy was a wonderful, generous funny man. That said cocaine was never mentioned once in the documentary while they acknowledged alcohol abuse and chain smoking. I didn’t love the blame Hollywood for everything schtick either. If he just wanted to stay home with the kids, he had enough money to do that. I think he enjoyed the action. -
Really pathetic attempt and thoroughly expected. You use a cherry picker to move the goalposts. Your quote contradicts your claim even if cherrypicked. Can you link that quote, btw? Did no one recalibrate their expectation of Arch? Did you not change your expectation? Was UTEP somehow stellar for Arch? Is this even a quote of me beyond the first two sentences? Are you quoting yourself to prove me wrong? WTF is that. Let's review my reasonable request for quotes to substantiate yours and the other guy's claims, shall we? Your will to believe things does not make them real. You want to feel like a winner. I will help. You are a winner. Everybody admires how perfect your record of opinions is. Women adore you. Dogs would change their master at your mere beckoning. Wild-eyed spittle ejaculation is a winning trait. Go ahead and quote me on that. Have it put on a card. The above is totally rational and winning. You're the sanest person I know. You're beating the shit of me. Please stop. I'll die if you continue.

Probably already mentioned, but worth repeating. OU offense had zero snaps inside the red zone. Furthest they got all game was the TEX 23 yd line.

Also it helps he threw three picks then took sacks instead of throwing more. I think no matter the personality I hate an ou qb that beats us and I’m not always fully hating an ou qb that we beat lol

Arch Manning: Doing his best JAG impression to fool scouts

This really needs more attention. It seems that Sark learned from the Florida disaster. He gave Arch quick, easy throws. Offense moves the ball. Arch gets more confident. Makes better throws later in the game. -

DeAndre Moore is so clutch 97.99% of the time. He really came in and hasn't stopped working since. He'll be back next year when Arch is back and the game has really slowed down (for Arch), and he and Wingo/Lockett/Ffrech/McCutcheon are going to feast. Baxter/Wisner (if he hits 2k again he's gone)/Gibson (if he doesn't transfer, will have much more experience and hopefully less fumbles)/Clark (sped of game slowed down)/Simon (speed of game slowed down)/Derek Cooper (will play a lot and hurt people)/Stewart (let's see how much muscle he adds and what he can do) with an improved line. If Goosby (LT) is back. He should since he's only a RS Soph, Brooks (LG), Robertson/Cruz (better than Hutson, I guarantee it), Kibble (LG) absolute maulers, and Baker (RT) with another year under his belt is already looking better (slowly). We gon be good. PK will never allow this defense ti suck, but we will miss Manny, so we gotta figure out who can replace him. -
Just watched the 2nd half, pretty proud of the team after facing their first bit of real adversity on the season. Lost the emotional leader of the defense and our team captain (Morton) early on. Coupled with Kansas finding a few holes in the defense in the 2nd quarter and seemingly having all the momentum going into halftime, it would have been easy for them to fold up like a chair and make a bunch of excuses. Instead, I thought they responded really well and just put a choke hold on them, physically dominated and left no doubt in the 2nd half. Not sure what was going on with Hammond early on, he seemed tentative and wasn't putting much zip on his passes as opposed to what he did @ Utah. But in the 2nd half it became obvious that we didn't really need to throw the ball much at all so we just stuck to a power run game which Hammond seems to thrive in and I love to see that. I was worried about that aspect of our offense coming into the season considering a bunch of new OL pieces and the fact that our starting RB got hurt before the season started. Cam Dickey and J'Koby Williams have really stepped up in his absence, though, and the OL is playing really well outside of a few penalties here and there. It's just Kansas, but that win felt good considering the circumstances. That team really plays for each other and it shows.
