  1. Past hour
  2. This I agree with. Our run of coaches who refuse to pound inferior teams into dust continues to hurt us. If we're up 3 scores in the third the goal should be to win by 5 scores, not just bleed clock. Sure you don't snap the call with 25 seconds on the play clock anymore but you also shouldn't be calling run, run, short pass, punt so you can play super soft defense and give up garbage time scores. As you imply, style points and big margins are a part of college football. If you refuse to do it then you are not a great college football coach.
  3. Yeah but Virginia vs Ole Miss (even with out a head coach) and UNT vs Oregon are absolutely going to expose this fraud. The 4 that truly tweak me are UNT, Virginia, Miami and ND. I presumed this would be the outcome but.. it's a joke.
  4. I'm mad for Taaffe, Burke, and the other seniors. And for Arch. Would have been incredible experience going into next season.
  5. I’m sure you can’t name names because of… portal…. But is there an actual list that is being pursued at RB?
  6. Welcome to college football Sark.
  7. Yes, he was talking about the 4-team CFP, but Leach’s thoughts on “committee” are still accurate.
  8. And look at their future schedules. This is exactly who should get called out when discussing SOS, playing up in OCG , etc https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/indiana/
  9. Of course it's the three losses. And I'm fine with that. Win more.
  10. Probably depends on whether he's the back-to-back defending national champion.
  11. Im not, but you do you. That was an actual question.
  12. Revenge tours never work. FSU’s didn’t. And Nebraska’s catapulted them into irrelevance
  13. Well their conference doesn't require them to play a P4 team at all. Ohio State and Michigan choose to do this every year. That's the problem. The playoff format has to require everyone be uniform in scheduling.
  14. Copy/paste formatting is all fucked up, so try to open this if you don't have an account. McDonald's is funny in the midst of all those other names. https://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/article313325112.html Edit: Here's the WFAA link, that will work for anyone.
  15. Correct. It is being proven that it is still always better to play a game you win 99% of the time. Losing by one score on the road against the #1 team is still worse than beating an FCS team at home.
  16. They also only have one decent win and we beat 2 teams above them. it’s not the Florida loss it’s the 3 losses. Stop saying the same thing. Yes the loss to Florida hurts. The same as the one to Georgia and OSU. They don’t lose one of those games then they’re in. You’re harping on the wrong fucking thing. and despite the 3 losses we should be in over fucking miami who couldn’t even make their fucking conference title game in a conference that the champ might get left out all together.
  17. People aren't thinking this through. They think it's a good game to play if you a have a 60% chance to win. It's still not.
  18. Because, and here's the important part, college football is ridiculous.
  19. This has nothing to do with next season, that's just a different strain of cope. We don't play the committee members next year so a revenge tour doesn't exist. Playing better next season doesn't change the stupidity of our being behind Miami and Notre Dame right now.
  20. Expected margin of victory for Van Epps slowly growing on NYT. Around 4 now.
  21. Not just Republican but the capital of MAGA-stan.
  22. Indiana played Old Dominion, Indiana State and Kennesaw State in non conference play. Schools I didn’t even know had a football program until this year. It is ridiculous a school can do that and be evaluated in the same sandbox as a Texas or Ohio State.
  23. I mean, you’re purposely being immature on this thread so figure it out bro.
