I think OP has learned the wrong lesson from this weekend. What we've learned this weekend is that STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WINS AND LOSSES. -
That's what ND is. Maybe.

I have a theory that most people only post on the internet when they are trying to process their feelings, unload baggage, etc.
-
While I get the sentiment, I don’t want to see China gain experience at war in any meaningful way.

Michigan should swallow their pride and hire the HC at Ferris State. Just saying. Decades as a Michigan HS coach, now doing it at the collegiate level. Similar to us hiring Jeff Traylor at Texas. Hook’em!!!

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen

Raiola is no where near the Top 3. TEMU Mahomes will be lucky to be drafted. -
If there was any quarterback who blinked today, it was Marcel One Reed - the QB who was supposedly a Heisman snub - at home. Beck just flat out sucks.

I always had questions about Mad Dog somehow being involved in the strength and conditioning program at Moncrief-Neuhaus. He seemed good on the strength part. Not so good on the conditioning. I did wonder if anyone at KU had talked to Mangino about his weight just from a “hey man, we are paying you a lot of money and need you to be alive to coach for us” angle.

Just woke up after the ACCACCACC kicked the bag out of the SEC. Nice to see the SEC actually look good for once, it only took playing an FCS team

Furk Senior moment. I forgot. Time to crack open the Geritol Silver.

Such a boring game. Tulane in over Texas is ludicrous

You left out the 4th team intentionally. So who is it? And you think the at 4th team has any business in a 4 team playoff? bama beat UGA during the regular season, but do you think they are the better team? Just asking for reference. -
Yes - because the ACC couldn't get it's best team into its own fucking conference championship game. If Miami plays and wins the CCG then JMU is out and the next P4 at-large gets to go. Fairly simple arithmetic.

I should have kept listening. Great call

I mean we could have matched up Miami and aggy in a bowl game where nothing was on the line for the winner? -
It’s Michigan that’s still open, as I type. Hook’em!!!

It’s an hour later in Miami

They are until they aren't. The current system is fair and fine. You cannot schedule good games. They happen organically. The 15 vs 2 and 16 vs 1 in the Basketball playoff are very often routs. The 4 seed in the baseball playoff often get destroyed. But sometimes those games are awesome. I don't understand the panic and rage. Is it somehow unusual that the better games happen later in a tournament? Well Tulane is ranked 11th so they would still have been in so people would still be furious and panicking. And JMU is 12th so your solution to this problem wouldn't solve it at all. Whatever. We can do 16. But it won't guarantee every match up will be awesome any more than this one will. -
I didn't follow the BUG much as they had only a few good games. Georgia? a good loss vs Bama, good wins vs Texas, Ole Miss, SECCG, but then scares against Florida, Auburn, and GTech with 3 body bag wins. I think UGA is just a good team.

Pedo hired Matt Campbell bro. Lol.

#3 the data does not match his argument. I posted the statistical data that shows that during the timeline he documents the hiring of women in that field matched the percentages of those attaining degrees in that field. So Ascribing the outcome to DEI without taking into account the pool of candidates available is leaving out a significant factor in that outcome that was inconvenient for the author. If he wanted to continue to see a 57:43 M:F ratio in hiring when the new graduate pool was 34:66 what he was really arguing for was more male bias not an even playing field.
-
Does aggy already have buyer's remorse extending Elko's contract? In other news Pedo still hasn't hired a HC. I guess they've targeted somebody still in the playoffs.

If they just took the top 16 teams, it would be fine. If your conference isn’t strong enough to get you into the top 16 if you’re undefeated, sorry, get in a real conference. A&M and Miami happened to be a bad ugly game but at least it was worth watching. Forcing Tulane and JMU in is bad for the sport. Also, stupid voting could be tested. I’d like to see if #4 TTU and #13 Texas are accurate in terms of which are the best teams in the country.
