  1. I haven't but it crossed my mind more than once. I did have an employee who did. Started missing meetings and wasn't answering slack and ended up getting fired.
  2. it's a good question, and has me questioning if I'm not aggressive enough pre flop some times. I'd much rather be in for 60 preflop and fold then be in for $200 and call light post flop. I know if I have A2345 I'm not jamming preflop as it's guaranteed all high cards if I do. I will raise and call a re-raise, but I'm not 3 betting. The first thing I do when I see a flop is count up how many cards give me the nuts. If I need two specific cards I'm probably getting out. If there's 4 cards that give me the nut low and 3 others that give me nut strait or I have a nut flush draw I'm probably calling any bet or potting myself. The other big factor is the player So with the AAJT3 I'm calling a 289 flop, AT7, TT5 or a KQ5. I'm not calling any flop with 3 cards under 9 if there's a 3 in it. If I'm heads up and have the nut low and someone is jamming I may not call unless I got top 2 pair or better as getting quartered is a very easy way to lose money. One of the books I read actually mentions the easiest way to spot a bad player is they are getting quartered all the time. The only people I see potting and re-potting pre flop in big O are idiots who are rebuying all the time. The smartest/winningest players will raise preflop but rarely 3 or 4 bet.
  3. Even this hand is only a 60-40 against most hands. I'd rather see the flop and have an easy choice then get a K72 or 996 flop and have to make a decision on calling his pot bet.
  4. To answer my own question, both visa and cash app are sponsoring it.
  5. Can't find the article I read a while back, but they marketed to non tax paying citizens and scammers, ignoring complaints of scams and allowing people to create hundreds of accounts and completely ignoring banking/KYC laws.
  6. yeah, they cater to and encourage black market transactions. is it the visa card from cash app? or does Visa have a app called cash?
  7. Go start a fema sucks thread if you want to discuss that shit.
  8. I agree you shouldn't borrow from your 401k unless you really need to, but the math says otherwise. Lets say you have $50k in CC debt at 26% Stock market averages 7% a year in returns You have $100k in your 401k so you can pull $50k You have to pay 10% for the loan You're going to pay it off in a year, so $4396 a month Money put back into 401k earns 7% If you get a loan and pay it off at 10% at the end you'll have $54,768 replacing the $50k if you just leave the money in the 401k you'll have $53,615 in the 401k, and assuming you paid the $4396 towards the cc each month you'd still have $5150 in cc debt. So your original $50k is now $48,463 If market is going down you'll have even more in your account at the end, if it's going up you'll do better on the leave in/pay cc plan.
  9. maybe if I don’t look directly at him he’ll give me some brisket fried rice
  10. As someone who spent my last 2 years in the Navy at Mare Island and living in Vallejo I am not surprised at all about how incompetent the police were. That town is such a fucking shithole. We always referred to it as "the armpit of the bay area". My one interaction with the police there was bad. I called to report a crime, they said they would send someone over. They never did. I called again the next day and they said they were sorry but there was a large robbery/hostage situation at the safeway down the street so they couldn't make it over and they would try to be there soon. Called a few days later and they said they talked to the DA and they didn't feel the crime was worth doing anything about so sorry were not going to pursue this. It closed as a Navy Base/Shipyard not long after I left in 1995. I did drop by on the way to Tahoe from SF a few years ago. Most of the buildings I was familiar with are gone. Somewhat bizarre to me that they built houses there, that place was an industrial wasteland. Was pretty funny seeing the bridge and other familiar places in the show.
  11. he's gone, you don't have to argue with him anymore
  12. Went down to bullets last night to play big o cash. They run it every Tuesday and Thursday. I knew almost everyone at the table. One total donk, two nits, one decent player and one guy who I remember playing with a long time ago but didn’t really remember how he played, but he had 2k in front of him so I assumed he was pretty good, we’ll call him Mike. Never managed to get in good against the donk, Mike was to my left and kept raising like crazy and after seeing what he was playing figured out he wasn’t very good. Built my stack from $300 to $400. Other good player gives Mike a huge gummy. An hour later Mike is starting to have issues reading the board and figuring out the lows. Got AsKcQsQd3c, potted per flop, Mike repots, a couple others and I call. Flop is JsTs2x. I pot, Mike repots, I’m all in for $400, he insta calls. I figure I’m up against a set, he turns over KQ952 rainbow. I’m ahead and just need to avoid an 8. Next card is 4s and he’s drawing dead for the high and needs an A or 3 to get the low but river is a 5 and I scoop a $900 pot. A few hands later i get AAJT2, one of the best starting hands you can get, I pot preflop, Mike repots and we’re heads up. Flop is AK8. I pot, he calls. Turn is a K, I bet $100, he thinks for a bit and calls. There’s no way he’s got kings, river is a J, I bet another $100 and he quickly calls. I show the aces and he mucks, boom, another $500+ pot. That was pretty much the peak, ended up cashing for $1284 after buying in for $300. Going to try to get down there every Thursday I can.
  13. Food has been the culprit with my dogs. Try some different foods or making your own and see how he does.
  14. Yeah, it's the degeniest of degen games. Pretty much someone is all in on every hand. Several players play every hand. Wait around for the nuts and you're going to be paid off. The difference between a good night and a bad night is how often your nut flush board does not pair on the river.
  15. Binked the Friday night PLO tournament at TCH then played bomb pot only plo for a bit. Get AAxx, had flush draws on both boards, Txx and Qxx. Turns are T and Q, so now TTxx and QQxx. $300 in the pot, one guy goes all in for $100 more, I call, other guy goes all in for $100 more, I Call my last chips. Rivers go AA. Nice little $800 pot.
  16. Wife has a 2017 CRV with 110k miles and the only issue we've had is a plastic piece that's part of the air intake developed a tear.
