  1. A USMC Super Stallion Helo went down yesterday after leaving Nevada for Miramar. The wreckage was located in East San Diego this morning, WITH NO MARINES INSIDE! So, there's a high probability that these guys survived. There's a shitload of assets looking for them right now, but the weather really sucks.
  2. So, you live in an apartment or something and have to use community laundry facilities?
  3. A buddy of my Dad drove Huey's bus for one of the tours, and said that Huey and the boys were the nicest bunch of guys that you could ever hope to meet.
  4. No it won’t. Judge is waiting on the perjury thing to plead out.
  5. BTW, Kenny Rogers rolls in the parking lot driving a Chrysler Laser. I had the same model. Not the best car I've ever owned, but it had some sex appeal, obviously, because Kenny Rogers drove one.
  6. they make the point that without bandaid, there would be no usa for africa, no farm aid, etc.
  7. I saw the dude in Vegas about 5 years ago. I had NO FUCKING IDEA how great he was/is. He played 30 fucking songs, and I knew the words to almost all of them without knowing that I knew (if that makes sense). His catalog is very impressive, and he's a terrific performer. A pro's pro. My favorite story from the film is that Springsteen wasn't supposed to be in L.A. He just finished up the "Born in the USA" tour in Buffalo the night before, but he came in for the recording. Richie and Quincy had photographers there, and they sent one outside to capture all the stars arriving (in limos). Photog says he sees a bitchin GTO pull up to the curb and park across the street from the A&M studio, and Springsteen gets out and walks across the street.
  8. yeah, this is the music thread, but it's a show about the making of "We are the World" record and the whole "USA for Africa" deal. It's very well done. Lionel Ritchie is the main character, and he's a cool mofo. I highly recommend. At one point, Stevie Wonder decides since it's for Africa, they should sing some lines in Swahili. Right then, Waylon says fuck this shit, and heads for the door, and he doesn't come back.
  9. aside from the brief commentary from the douchebag, it's a great video. Judge doesn't take any shit at all.
  10. For those that haven't seen it, "Pushing Tin" is a good flick. Billy Bob Thorton and John Cusack, with a very young (pure smoke) Angelina Jolie.
  11. Fuck me, we'll never see it Will Person of the Year 2024 be broadcast? The Person of the Year 2024 concert will not be televised or broadcast. https://one.bidpal.net/personoftheyear2024/custom/custom3
  12. do we actually know this? Streaming doesn't pay shit. Did that song actually sell records/CDs?
  13. Fuck yeah. Larry, Susie, Jeff, Leon, Richard Lewis, come on down!!!
  14. Fred Dryer was also on that team for Coryell.
  15. But your point is correct. She's cashing checks for the song, and is almost certainly selling record too, and she has Combs to thank for that. She'd probably hug him if her arms were longer.
  16. he sings it as well as the best drunk at the local bar on karaoke night. He doesn't butcher it for sure.
  17. He's a good storyteller. I love when he DJ's on the Beatles channel.
