  1. AND OU STILL SUCKS
  2. That’s what THEY want you to think. I don’t know who they in this context is though.
  3. They are at least trying to make you think he’s Sauron. I haven’t read any of the books, but the show is dropping hints: He’s made the king of the south lands right before Mount Doom is created? And he was mad that Adar didn’t recognize him when Adar thinks he killed Sauron? And he’s a smith when Sauron forged the rings of power? I don’t know if ultimately he will turn out to be Sauron; but that the vibe I’m getting so far, and especially this episode.
  4. It happens. Who was the car dealer here in town that successfully had a hit taken out? Charles Maund? His mistress was killed.
  5. You shut your mouth about those lots. Those are our little secret.
  6. Too many limbs.

    30 and 16

30 and 16 is illegal in most states. And should be illegal here too.
  8. That sure is an opinion.
  9. I agree. But Terry Black’s wasn’t included in the tip theft (at least this time).
  10. Get a Ramos Gin Fizz. I miss those.
  11. Apparently it was only the original (and their satellite locations), not Terry Blacks. So you’re good.
  12. The ones on the refrigerated section that are dough that you have to cook in your skillet.
  13. Black’s (all locations) apparently stole tips from employees and gave it to managerial staff, then blamed their payroll processor. https://www.statesman.com/story/news/2022/09/20/blacks-barbecue-tied-to-illegal-tip-sharing-by-federal-investigation/69506351007/
  14. There’s nothing immoral about paying the least amount of tax legally possible. Don’t blame the billionaires, blame the lawmakers.
  15. $235 for a jersey?
  16. Urine is supposed to be blue? Man, Tom Herman’s piss chart was all messed up.
  17. Man I hate that shit. Assuming this is in Texas I pushed back for my law partner when she was buying her mothers house. Title Co Atty sent the case law they thought was their ace in the hole. We shot all kids of holes in it, it had literally nothing to do with the actual situation (in the case the lender lent money to someone for a “purchase money mortgage” to buy a family members house on a sale that didn’t actually happen, so the person who signed the deed of trust didn’t actually own the home, and there was no ability to foreclose). Got the message back that essentially “we don’t care. We still won’t issue a title policy, good luck finding someone who does.” It wasn’t worth the fight so we gave it up; but it goes to show you; it doesn’t matter what’s legally correct in this situation. Also, makes me want to start a title company. “Fuck you, pay me” as a business model seems nice.
  18. it was 61 in my VAN, DOWN BY THE RIVER house down near Bull Creek this morning when I walked the dog, and it was awesome.
