  1. GOP: We would have no gun violence if we just believed in God. Also GOP: I believe in God and will shoot all the sheriffs.
  2. Not quite. “When the Constitution was written, the Sixth Amendment did not apply to the state courts. Except that it says that it does, and that there was no federal criminal law at the time the Constitution was ratified. But textual originalism or federalism or whatever we call that thing we invoke to justify whatever result we want requires that we read the Constitution in the vilest way possible. Because we’re heartless, unprincipled assholes.”
  3. Governor, I played with Bob Marley. I knew Bob Marley. Bob Marley was a friend of mine. Governor, you’re no Bob Marley.
  4. That Dumbass Shit I Saw on Surly.
  5. I don’t understand why the Great Replacement Theory worries conservatives so much. It doesn’t sound so scary to me. Frankly, I’m a lot more worried about the Not Very Good Replacement Theory. Or even worse: the Pretty Bad Replacement Theory.
  6. You misspelled “greater fool scam.”
  7. Good news, Nigerians: BTC is now your official currency! And at the current rate of 7 transactions per second worldwide, up to 0.3% of you will have the opportunity to engage in a financial transaction each day.
  8. The third question is for you, Karl Marx: The Hammers. The Hammers is the nickname of what English football team?
  9. Don’t give the rollerhater any ideas.
  10. It’s actually pretty sad. A post about suicide prevention is pinned to the top of the Terra Reddit page.
  11. Terra absolutely cratering. Now trading in the $0.70s.
  12. Brighton is just toying with them now. That last chance looked like their manager implemented the “five passes before you can shoot” mercy rule.
  13. “Top staffer.” Is that what the move Cawthorn did to that other dude’s face is called?
  14. Dibs on “Septic Uterus” for my death metal band name.
  15. Here’s the thing about Republicans: they no longer understand principled reasoning. Everything is outcome-driven with them. So of course some dipshit like Sack can’t fathom how the logic of this ruling paves the way for the denial of other analogous rights. He’s not accustomed to logical consistency or principled analysis; the only thing he understands is disingenuous pretext to justify a desired result. Dude is understandably legitimately baffled by the studied criticism of this ruling. His brain isn’t wired to understand objective, consistent rationale. Either that or he’s gaslighting along with Alito, which is equally probable.
  16. Looks like the person Cawthorn should have warned about the imminent “drip drip campaign” was his friend’s face.
  17. Holy shit. An all English FA Cup final. Crazy!
  18. Why wouldn’t you believe the majority about that, just because three of them also recently pinky-swore not to overturn the specific right their opinion overturns?
