  1. I downloaded a program (forgot the name) that you start up before you start your game and it keeps you in a solo online lobby. It just kicks people out before they can even get in. So I could run my cocaine or weed sales without being bothered, it was great. *Edit* It's called Guardian, I think. I haven't played in at least a year and a half, so I don't even know it it still works.
  2. I have watched almost every show/film I liked on Prime slide out of prime and into one of those subscription packs they offer. Some went to IMDBtv, others to Britbox, or Docs or something. It's like cable all over again, I'm not doing it. All it's done is made me scour downloading sites to find the shows I want and put them on my plex server. It has been a pain in the ass but fuck Amazon.
  3. I'm partial to Tango & Cash.
  4. It's stories like this that make me glad that both of my parents left home after HS and never went back, other than an occasional visit. I hardly know any of my extended family and none of them even know where we live, so I don't have to worry about freeloaders showing up after Dad's gone.
  5. I don't see a 45 degree angle on those footprints. Did they outsource to China or something?
  6. A tale as old as time. My wife will buy those pre-made salads at our local grocery store and it's inevitable that at least one of them gets tossed by sunday ("I forgot that was in there!"). She actually ate all of the ones she bought the last week and tried to spike that football in my face, like she solved an ancient math equation that's baffled scientists for generations. I just told her I was proud of her and walked away.
  7. Lewis has that look on his face of someone who had his lunch stolen from the work fridge.
  8. Every other radio ad is for boner pills or some other ED treatment. And yes, I'm too cheap to pay for SiriusXM or any other music service.
  9. Watching the dude in Barcelona light the cauldron with a fucking flaming arrow is still ingrained in my memory. Absolutely loved it.
  10. When you accidently pull off two post-it notes instead of just one. You can never get that extra one back on the pad just right.
  11. We had a LT come by after lights out one night. The firewatch was supposed to greet him with "ATTENTION ON DECK, GOOD EVENING, SIR" but he said something to the effect of "um...hello". The SDI was there and he came out, obviously pissed. He was only there for a minute or two and I heard him say to the SDI "Does he know what to do when I leave?", in a tone of just pure sarcasm and contempt for the kid. SDI says "You know what Sir, I just don't know.". Dude got bent the next day and we all got a lecture.
  12. He got 4 schools on probation: A&M, OSU, OU and Illinois. The grand slam of cheating, I guess.
  13. Does he pay them under the table? Or maybe a $50 handshake? Sorry, disgruntled OSU fan here.
  14. My dad was given fentanyl when he was in the hospital for his heart attack/bypass surgery. It made him hallucinate and he said it was horrible. He told them no more after that. That shit scares me.
  15. Everyone already thinks ou is fucking trash, why beat a dead horse?
  16. It's like they snapped a pic of the Hulk as he's turning back into Bruce Banner.
  17. We went to dinner last friday at a local BBQ place. They have 6-7 stores in the OKC metro, been in business over 20 years. We go in and the first thing I notice is another family standing around. Usually you get seated right away, and there were plenty of open tables, so it was odd. We had to order our food at this walk-up counter and I heard the manager (I assume because he was the only one wearing a polo shirt) quietly tell my wife "We have no servers tonight". Our food was delivered quickly and it was fine, no complaints. I did notice the place was nearly empty. I have no idea if they're a shitty employer that is now reaping what they've sown or if it's just the way things are going.
  18. I worked there in the late 90s. It was a shithole even then. It got so bad that the county sheriff's office lost control of the jail and it was turned over to a trust. Nothing has changed. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
  19. I had a snafu with my insurance earlier this year, I didn't get a shot for 5 weeks or so. I had resigned myself to the idea that I was just never going to get it again. I didn't feel near as blah as I did before I started taking it but I damn sure didn't get hard at the drop of a hat like I had been doing. Glad to be back on the spike again.
  20. I asked my Dr about that and he said if I were to stop the injections, my body would eventually start producing on it's own again.
  21. Honest question: If this would work, why hasn't the US government dropped this level of aid on Detroit or West Virginia? Do we think the local authorities are any less corrupt than foreign ones?
  22. I actually saw that in the theater. Just to reiterate something we've all said on here a million times: teenagers are stupid.
  23. Here in OKC, it's been in the 70s and raining for the last few days. I don't know who ordered this weather trade but I for one would buy that guy a beer.
  24. His last job was at Domino's, delivering pizza. He straight up asked my dad if he'd get kicked out of the house if he were to quit. Dad said no, nephew quit. Dad said he worked long enough to save up for some video game system and then quit. I think it was the Wii U. His sister managed to get on disability for her supposed mental illness. His response was "Why does she get to not work but I have to?", so I'm not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt just yet. Maybe I'm biased because of my dealings with my ex-wife. She was always "too depressed" to go to work, but she could go out almost every night with her friends, smoke weed, etc.
