  1. We called that climb out of Rich Cabins and up to the Mesa the "Father Fucker." Your third-pic, is that Whiteman Vega?
  2. @sasquatch69 Rich Cabins is great! In '19 they shared guitars and let a couple of our guys join in and jam. We had hit the creek that day to rinse off and clean our clothes. Felt like a million-bucks. Looks like you went across the Mesa to Pueblano? Did you go up Baldy from Miranda? My daughter wants to go back and Ranger if she can work at Miranda. She loved it there, and especially the tomahawk throwing. Welcome home!
  3. Can't hurt for them to try...
  4. My experience is that in Oxford they offer you beer after beer. In Lubbock they throw it at you while your back is turned. Fuck Sand Aggy.
  5. Cleveland Redskins
  6. or waive a mother 'effin pom-pom. JFC. Missouri has been lifting their skirt and bending over for the Big10 for decades. Big 10 doesn't give them so much as a whiff and never will. Sure. Maybe we could meet at other neutral sites as well. Juarez? Fallujah?
  7. Murdering her father right in front of his future daughter-in-law too. Unforeseen consequences for his own son. That's some real Soprano's shit right there. I love it.
  8. I thought the blowup occurred after Aiken's medicals came back [post draft] and during contract negotiations …and as it turns out, Luhnow and the Astros' doctors were right about Aiken's arm.
  9. Broken Bow for Kayaking. Not too difficult, even for the younger, smalller scouts. There’s a private campground we use that’s safer than the State Park or other public facilities near the damn. Let me know if you’re interest and I’ll find the contact info. We have always made it our September camp out
  10. Pete had a very solid high school career at QB for Houston Lee. All-State punter too, if I recall. I coached and watched him grow up at Post Oak Little League. He played on several teams and a couple of All-Star squads with Clay King, and was every bit as good.
  11. That's "Ringtail." It's a relatively new campsite. We stayed overnight there between Baldy Town and Santa Claus. Here is our view of that meadow, along with the bear that interrupted setting up camp.
  12. Just got back from Philmont on Monday. It rained on us most of each day. Trails were like walking through four inches of peanut butter. Missed out on our chance to climb Baldy because it was 28-degrees and snowing on the 27th. We lost the trail above the tree-line and had to turn back. Polar opposite from my first trek there in 2019. If you have any questions, DM me. This. Always. I set my alarm 45-mts before wake-up just so I could offer to help pack others quickly.
  13. [image]/ he's right you know [/image]
  14. Didn't want you to think this had gone unnoticed. Holy crap. That's a mf'er.
  15. "Smothered in underwear, please."
  16. In training for Philmont this summer that's what I've been telling the Scouts that haven't been before. This may seem like a breeze, particularly for the athletes, but the altitude is going to be a butt-whip. We did a shakeout hike this weekend along the southside of Lake Texoma. Girls got up yesterday, packed their gear in the rain, and did the 5-miles back to cars in a steady downpour and through awful trail conditions. Nary a complaint. Amazing how far they've come this Spring, but (again) the altitude is going to be a a real eye-opener for them. Particularly with Baldy coming on Day 4.
  17. Only slightly less disturbing than murder.
  18. about tree-fiddy.
  19. ... and that it was Bin Laden and al qaeda that stormed the Capitol on January 6th.
  20. I’d put the Seinfeld finale right there in that category. The culmination of the tailspin that began when Larry David checked out. I was relieved to see the Larry Sanders Show in the Top 10. “Hey Now!”
  21. He's not alone in that regard.
  22. Bullshit. He's done all he can do here. It's time to move on and cash in. I hope he has a long and prosperous NBA career.
