The river is amazing. You are absolutely correct it is like nothing else in Texas, and it's worth learning to canoe/kayak/camp just to take the trip down the length of the river. We did the shorter trip for the north half of the river. I would go back in a heartbeat but it's not for everyone.
Ya, but the net spend is going from 3k to 4k for the lowest tier status. To get real status the jump is even higher. I've been sticking with United but won't hit Platinum this year, so I might need to take a look at Delta again.
It was a political play on both sides. Sucks that our city council thought they could illuminate Austin as some sort of Garden of Eden where the realities of homelessness in the USA can be solved single handedly with little to no prior planning, and it sucks that our governor frames this as some sort of saving Austinites from our communist overlords. The truth is in the middle, the state should contribute more resources than they do to homelessness because the cities can't solve this on their own, and the city should actually have some competent planning before they do something so drastic.
I'm not holding out hope, because I think they're all pretty contemptible.
Well unfortunately there are a whole shitload of examples to the contrary where dudes with guns made shitty decisions and people died. But thanks for trying.
I hit the Rabbit Hole and Old Forester tours today, and have Angel’s Envy and Evan Williams tomorrow. Whoever rec’d Rabbit Hole, thanks. It was much less touristy
I have a Citizen. Love it. Don't have a Seiko, but I hear great things. I always thought watch dorks thought higher of Seiko than Citizen but could be off on that.
So no advice really. I doubt you'd be unhappy with either.
To be considered when the city has achieved its goal of ending homelessness.
The fact that they think this is a real possibility is farcical. "Don't worry guys! Noone else has figured this shit in our country out but we're going to do it on our own with nothing but your property taxes and the best of intentions!"
In the 15 minutes I saw of the Norwich game, Byram looked incredible. Will be interesting to see if he can replicate that performance over the rest of the season
When the opposition just clearly doesn’t give a shit when your center backs have the ball close to the halfway line, they’re probably not good enough to pass it out of the back. Goddamnit
Ya having a Haymaker inside ABIA is nice for beer selection on the way to the gate, but fuck the prices are insane. I think it was $13 for an Electric Jellyfish
True, but it made a big difference to take out the water heater closet at the end of the hall in our house and add that space into the master bedroom closet on the other side of the wall. Granted, not everyone is in a 1300 square foot house and needs every inch of storage space possible.
