  1. What was illegal? I've asked that question over and over and nobody answers it. A couple of times people referred to an "illegal campaign contribution" but that's nonsense.
  2. He got an investigation aimed at damaging his political rival. Exactly the same thing Trump was seeking.
  3. So while Obama did benefit, the reason it's OK is that it was a legitimate investigation? In other words, sometimes as part of your official and legitimate duties as president, you may be called on to undertake actions that appear to be personally beneficial. And if you are carrying out your duty as President, that would overcome your presumption that it is being done for personal benefit. We agree 100%.
  4. Obama was looking for dirt so he could kill Trump's campaign. Trump was a political opponent, in case you forgot.
  5. The aren't similar, they're identical. Obama politically benefitted from the investigation. How is that not an abuse of power? It's not really a complicated question, it has a very easy answer.
  6. So explain why Obama should not have been impeached when he was spying on the Trump campaign. The political motivation is obvious and the facts are undisputed. We was clearly using his presidential resources for personal benefit.
  7. No, I agree that in principle, a president should not use the powers of the office for personal political gain. There was no quid pro quo, obviously, but you can keep going down that path for as long as you want. Do you agree with that principle or not? I certainly do.
  8. I don't think which resource is used inappropriately is important. The issue is that you are using government power for personal gain. A president has lots of different resources which are capable of being abused.
  9. So if you direct an investigation towards a political opponent, you should probably be impeached? Say, if you use the IRS to target your opponents?
  10. To be clear, the principle your are enumerating is this - "A president should not use the resources of his office for personal political benefit". Do I restate your position correctly? And if they do so, it is completely outrageous and they should be impeached?
  11. I want to beat an undefeated Baylor. Although more likely, we lose to them. Either way, they're bad and we should win convincingly but we won't.
  12. i'll wait for you to provide the details. That's how this works.
  13. You guys know what a person who spree negs but can't make an argument is? I don't call people names, but if I did it wouldn't be a favorble description. How empty does your life have to be, that you can't just have a conversation. But you have more internet points, so you're the real winner. Jack Straw, I'm impressed by the vigor with which you pursue your meaningless life.
  14. Drink if they call him "scrappy" or a "gamer" or talk about "the size of the dog in the fight".
  15. Umm, yeah, still not a quid pro quo. Ukraine got their money, there was no investigation. This is history, fact, not my opinion. Historical events are very unlikely to change. Say it slowly to yourself. 1. Ukraine got their money. 2. They didn't investigate the Bidens. There was no exchange.
  16. Baylor's going to crush us. Brewer's gonna pass for 500 yards.
  17. Bro, this is another Mueller report. It's going nowhere. Are you just going to impeach again after he's reelected?
  18. Except the investigation was entirely legitimate. The Biden's are shady as fuck. Joe used his influence for personal gain and probably got an investigation stopped on behalf of his son. You don't want to get investigated? Don't trade policy for personal favors. Breaking news, the whistleblower was kicked out of the White House for leaking and is a partisan Democrat. I mean, who could have seen that coming?
  19. Well, yeah, but that staff wants him to stay. There's enough evidence about transfers now, you aren't doing shit if you leave. You can, however, tough it out and prove yourself with your play on the field. I mean, he won't, but it's too bad. Dude's so talented.
  20. I hope you at least charged her wheelchair.
  21. 13 negs in 22 minutes. Gotta be some kind of record.
