  1. We looked it into it. My wife was looking into doing remote clinical work. Medicare requires you to be physically located in the US to bill. We’re hoping things might change before she implements her semi-retirement plans.
  2. I just got back from 5 days on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. Bands, floozies, drinking, eating, walking, making new rocker friends, and discovering how things really work around there. Would gladly go back. Coming back to Lufkin was...sad. Shit.
  3. Separatec Everyday. Game changer. Separatec Men's Comfortable Soft Cotton Dual Pouch Colorful Underwear
  4. That will be me in 3 weeks. Celebrating our 9th anniversary. There will be lots of puss involved.
  5. That was a damn good phone.
  6. I got a couple of Meaters that I love. Look at Meater.com Also have a Fireboard for the big cooks. And a Thermapen is mandatory in any kitchen.
  7. Will be spending a long weekend there this week. Thanks for the rec.
  8. I have some silicone ice molds, and when they start to smell like the freezer, they go in a 350 oven for about an hour. Your whole kitchen will smell like freezer-burn for a bit, and then it just goes away. Obviously, you wanna make sure you’re dealing with legit heat-proof silicone items; otherwise, you’re just some dumbass melting things in your oven.

  10. Unless I missed it, I'm really surprised that, out of two pages thus far, no one has said, "Your Mom." Because I feel that "Your Mom" is the correct answer. She was new to ME, anyway...
  11. The Westin mentioned above is fine, but our frequent go-to is the DFW Sheraton. Thanks to using the mobile key, we are in-and-out quite a bit without ever getting near the front desk. We just prefer it to The Westin. No particular reason... Both have decent restaurants and bars inside. And both have shuttles.
  12. Getting a hard pounding, huh?
  13. Tempting offer for sure. The wife and I come (cum?) as apackage deal, however. Which, potentially, may solve your blowjob dilemma...ha! Consider at your leisure and have your people call my people to set up a lunch!
  14. At least you found my ball.
  15. My first question would be: what the fuck is “coach” doing in a kids’ chat app?
  16. Username checks out. i think.
  17. I bet you can crank the fuck out of some Foghat on that and it sounds awesome!
  18. When it comes to laundry, by the way, it is worth noting that most modern washers and dryers wash on "cooler" settings than when we were growing up. So...regardless of where you keep your water heather, you will find that your washer's internal thermostat will keep things a lot more mild than you think. Warm isn't really THAT warm, and Hot is not truly that hot. If that helps...
  19. Laundry: I despise the use of bleach, in general, mostly because 99% of my wardrobe is black, and I don't want anything with bleach anywhere near me, but...I do, occasionally, use it in the laundry to brighten up the whites. 1/2c should work, no more than a whole cup in a laundry load, with soap, on hot, will totally take care of your towels and sheets. Work and nice clothes are inspected, pre-treated, and then washed on Cold and hung dry.Warm, dried on low, and folded. Unless you're wearing some goofy designer undies and/or socks, that shit gets washed on Hot and dried on whatever the label says. Same thing for sheets and towels. I use liquid fabric softener, because the sheet will coat your dryer, and not everything needs fabric softener. And, by the way, never put fabric softener in towels of any kind. Wooden toilet seats: what kinda crud problem are you having? That sounds disgusting...!
  20. Mattress: that's some funny shit, you magnificent OCD bastard...ha! Kitchen: I'm referring to "room cleaning" which is basically vac and mop, and may or may not involved dusting hard surface and fixtures, baseboards, or whatever the "room" needs. Even though there's just 2 of us, I/We cook a lot, so washing pots, wiping counters, loading and unloading dishwasher, wiping counters, etc. is a just part of the daily grind. Your sink sprayer: are you sure there's not some filter of some kind in there that's helping to gum up the works? Or we're assuming that it's a bit of hard-water corrosion making that switch stick. Personally, I would totally soak that fucker in CLR, but, man...I really hesitate to tell ya that your finish will be just fine, and then look like an asshole. When you read the label on CLR, however, it will tell you that it's just fine on sink and shower fixtures, and the various materials that are inside your sprayer. Personally, I've never ruined anything with CLR, but there's always a first time, I guess.
  21. Absolutely. Don't mind sharing at all. It ain't rocket science, but it keeps me on track. It started years ago when I had to remember to give the dog the monthly heart/flea chew. Oh yeah, when I do that, I should check THIS, do THAT, and then it just became a checklist from there. I'm sure you can come up with a million stupid things that you need to do around your house on a regular basis. This process just ensures that shit gets done, looked at, inspected, cleaned, replaced, whatever. Monthly: check/change AC filters and closet Damprids, run clean cycle on dishwasher, vac/rotate/flip couch cushions and recliners (I've got 3 sectionals) Even Months: Change Dyson & Roomba filters (inspect brushes and replace as necessary) Quarterly: Flea pill for cat, descale coffee maker, clean grinder, run clean cycle on washing machine, check dryer vent, change Sonicare heads, wash mattress pad, charge emergency car kits Semi-annually: Rotate mattresses, clean all water aerators Annually: Change batteries and check all detectors (garage door pad, too), replace fridge water filter. As far as my house routine: Monday: Towels. Clean Kitchen/Breakfast Nook/Hall Tuesday: Dining Room & Game Room Wednesday: Trash. Sheets. Bath mats. Clean Master suite Thursday: Living Room & Front Room Friday: Bathrooms Saturday: Spare Rooms and Hall Sunday: Catch up or fuck off. Don't know if any of this helps, but hey...we're all Domestic Gods here, right?
  22. All I needed to know. Thanks!
  23. Gonna be driving from Sacramento to Calistoga. How’s the drive. The fastest route (not direct at all) takes me I-80 thru Vacaville, south of Fairfield, exiting thru Creston and then taking 29 up thru Napa and all the way up to Calistoga. Or…from the airport, I can head west to Winters and then bob & weave along the south side of Lake Berryessa. Direct route, but evidently quite a bit slower. Wife gets kinda carsick. Should I just stick to the interstate? Or are we missing an opportunity for a beautiful drive?
  24. Up to 33k members this morn.
  25. That's just comedy gold, right there!
