  1. You gotta be pretty sick to make jokes in the wake of a seoul crushing event like that.
  2. I'm in that pic. Right there in the back.
  3. That guard is unnecessary and just hinders the mowing. Get one of these and you can really go to town on that shit up your nose, ears, and eyebrows. https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-Nosetrimmer-NT3600-42/dp/B0842YNRWG/ref=sr_1_1?crid=WKXCX13J93Q0&keywords=nose+hair+trimmer&qid=1666817361&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI1LjA4IiwicXNhIjoiNC43NyIsInFzcCI6IjQuNjkifQ%3D%3D&refinements=p_89%3APhilips+Norelco&rnid=2528832011&s=beauty&sprefix=nose+hair+%2Caps%2C123&sr=1-1
  4. This is where I usually look for current conditions before a trip out there. https://bigbendchat.com/?sid=b093ce653fc86ffc9b73ec2725511ca4
  5. And how good are they? Some guy named Jason Bean dropped 4 TDs on them yesterday.
  6. The only puzzling thing about this is why any rational person would ever mention a #1 overall pick status about a freshman. The hype was stupid from the get-go. Quinn might be great or he might not be. But it's going to take longer than this to figure that out. So far his body of work is one great quarter against Alabama before they had a chance to make any adjustments and who has since not lived up to their own hype, and then he beat up on a bunch of unranked teams. His year so far should not have led anyone to be any more impressed than, "He looks pretty good for a freshman." VY had shit games. Colt once threw 4 picks in a game. Anyone expecting high level week-in and week-out consistency from a 19 year old is an idiot.
  7. Would the back 7 of their defense be included in the deal?
  8. This too. Texas held the nations longest streak at not being shutout until VY went 8-23 for 86 yards and lost 2 fumbles, notching Texas’ first shutout loss in a quarter century. Young guys play like shit sometimes.
  9. This. He’s an inexperienced freshman and he’s going to have a few games where he plays like an inexperienced freshman. No need to over think it, he’s just not as good as everyone expects because he was hyped to an irrational level. You motherfuckers are going to do the same thing to Arch too.
  10. What a perfect time to be out there with this weather.
  11. Thanks. The cool-dek guys left me with a can of the paint.
  12. Thanks man, I really appreciate your input throughout this entire thread over the years. I suppose I should put some filler in there to keep it from growing too much, yeah?
  13. How big a deal is this crack? Just noticed it this morning. There’s a small oak a few feet from there but it hasn’t had time to grow much since the pool was just finished this past May. The crack extends through the concrete deck and into the limestone next to it.
  14. No kidding. Making your kid ride the bus isn't considered child abuse. I wasn't liking what I was seeing when my oldest had his permit. Made him wait until 17 to get his license. Even with that, he knows this whole car thing is a one and done deal. He buys the next one whether this one lasts one week or 10 years.

Woke up drunk. Ass hurts. Again?!
  16. Appropriate that the major sport that involves the least amount of actual running, and in which you literally spend half the game sitting on a bench waiting your turn and most of the other half standing stationary waiting on a ball that probably won't come to you, insists on calling their points "runs".
  17. Counter to the counterpoint: Two games later it went 6 hours and 22 fucking minutes before either team scored a point. Baseball is a snoozefest and even its best moments don't change that.
  18. Username checks out
  19. No. Your post was bitchy. We are just a few months removed from a 5-7 campaign, the trajectory is going the right direction, and yesterday was a solid win. Everyone knows there is still a need for improvement but if you watched yesterday's game and weren't happy about the result you should just find another hobby.
  20. God grant me the serenity to accept the thread drift I cannot change…
  21. Texas 34 OU 31 180
  22. I'm pretty sure if there was a blind taste test with every beer mentioned in this thread except for the few beers that have distinctive tastes, Shiner Bock and any stout, most of us couldn't tell the one we say we love from the one we hate. Miller, Bud, Lone Star, PBR, etc... I don't think anyone could blindly identify which was which among those.
  23. Remember when they had that decibel meter on the scoreboard? The orange bands around the edge of the scoreboard would light up and the light would rise higher and higher with the noise until at the loudest moment it would light up the Longhorn at the top. Does the new scoreboard have anything like that? It should. Lighting up the Longhorn became a goal
  24. Hadn’t even thought about Tahoe. That’s a good idea to look into. I’ve skied Heavenly before and loved it. Way before kids. Purgatory a couple of times too. Good suggestions, thanks.
  25. This is what I came here looking for. When my kids were young we’d always go to Angelfire because it was cheap and it chaps my ass to pay big mountain prices when they’d only ski the same little runs over and over. But one year we got burned badly with lack of snow at AF and vowed never to do NM at Spring Break again. The last few years we’ve gone to Wolf Creek because the families we travel with had a free condo in Pagosa. But I’m tired of driving up that mountain every day. This year the girlfriend and her kid are going which rules out driving in one car. So I’m looking into places we can fly into. Hoping to avoid I-70 and rental cars. Spring Break. With 5 of us I don’t see how this will cost less than $10k. I’d rather have smaller crowds and good convenience than epic terrain. We all snowboard blues all day, doesn’t take much to keep us happy on the snow. Where else should I be looking?
