  1. He could handle the wolves. As long as they don't charge him.
  2. Little Woodrows would be good. And you can grab a burger from Rodeo Goat before the match.
  3. What part of town? Although it's hard to predict which places will have crowds with everyone dealing with Beryl aftermath.
  4. Bodega is fantastic. That area of Central Avenue has a ton of great restaurants/bars. And it's very walkable.
  5. In a world where Fitlump became a city councilwoman, I can see Josh Wolff becoming the head coach of the USMNT.
  6. Dude, be very careful. That is some "cursed monkey paw" shit you're saying right there.
  7. That's been my other problem with this season. In the last episode, the Jewish space laser rant, "The female body has ways of rejecting pregnancy if it's an actual rape", and the politician who "can't be alone with any woman who isn't his wife (or mistress)" are actual things that have been said by politicians on a certain side of the political spectrum in this country in the last couple of years. But I can't blame the show writers for that. It's hard to write satire when reality is so ridiculous.
  8. I'm starting to think this show has run its course. Fun as hell for the first couple of seasons, but the shock factor has gotten old and it's just turned into Wile E. Coyote chasing the Road Runner with a new zany scheme each week. And I don't care about Frenchie or Huey's dad. Although I did like the image of the vice president rimming AOC while shouting "Defund the police". I would pay a substantial sum of money to watch that.
  9. Is this like Off Road? If it is, I'll smoke all you fools. I'll be getting the nitro boosts while you're going the wrong way on the track and getting stuck in the water.
  10. The book is fantastic. I don't have Paramount right now, but I'll get it in the fall for the Champions League, so I'll watch it then.
  11. I vote Terry Blacks. Went there a few months ago and it was outstanding.
  12. Welp, I guess it's all over.
  13. After much consideration, I am changing my list. These are the three best sitcom characters of all time. There shall be no more discussion: Selina Meyer GOB Bluth Laszlo Cravensworth However, I am willing to hear arguments for Tobias Funke and Roger Furlong.
  14. Best place to watch tonight's game in North Austin? I'll be with my wife and teenage son. I was thinking Hopsquad, but I'm open to suggestions.
  15. Think about it, sheeple. Who benefits if beef is outlawed? None other than Colonel Sanders and his wee beady eyes.
  16. Fair. But I would like to have sexual relations with President Meyer, so I'll just list her.
  17. "Branson, Missouri. My dad says it's like Vegas if it were run by Ned Flanders."
  18. I think this is my list too, but I might sub out Jack for Selena Meyer.
  19. I agree with you that he is offside. No question his foot is past the defender. But I don't agree that he broke the spirit of the law. The rule is in place to prevent an attacker from just parking themselves way downfield and that is obviously not what happened here. I hate thinking of it like this, but we just have too much info. If we didn't have the computer simulation and could only rely on the video, no one would complain if the goal was allowed. Well OK, the Germans would complain, but no one would take them seriously. It's similar to baseball when a runner slides into second, clearly beats the tag, but as he's sliding his body comes off the bag for a split second while the tag is being applied, and he's called out. By the letter of the law, he is out. But in the spirit of the law, he should be safe since he reached the bag before the tag was applied. And with just real time video, no one would complain. But because we have HD super slo-mo video zoomed in on the bag, we can see his body barely left the bag when his armpit passed over and he's called out. It's stupid.
  20. OK, but then you're just shifting the debate to "Is there a sliver of daylight or not?" and I don't think that solves anything if you do a computer replay. Maybe the solution is VAR can step in if there is a clearly wrong call, but the ref has to see it on the monitor without the aide of a computer drawing lines on a simulation.
  21. I completely agree and my son and I were both saying during the match that there has to be some ref's discretion in cases like this. But what is the solution? I don't want to completely get rid of VAR because there are definitely times when it's needed to correct a clearly blown call. And obviously, by the letter of the law, he was offside. Of course it's bullshit, but I don't know how to change the rule without creating more problems.
  22. This is where I am. If I was 100% sure Gregggg would get fired with a loss, then I would probably root for it. But I don't trust the leadership to do that or to make the right hire even if they shitcan him.
