  1. Yeah, the moose out front shoulda told y'all that. I mean, he probably would have....if mooseoutfront hadn't already dropped him with a solid heart shot.
  2. Seriously. Our POTUS is using the "phone a friend" option when he gets stumped.....except the friend is actually our enemy. This fucking timeline.
  3. Your burger prices? Shooting up at a 28% annual rate of inflation since Trump took office. Your can of beer? About to shoot up a good bit. Veggies (I know, you don't eat 'em, veggies are for commies)? Up 38% wholesale in one month. Man, all of this winning sure is costing all of us a shitload of money. A good chunk of it in tariffs. Which is a tax on regular consumers like you and me. Donald Trump raised taxes on all real, working Americans, while simultaneously lowering taxes for billionaires. He's managing to fuck you in the ass, all while you thank him for it and ask for more. Fucking idiots.
  4. Alex, what is "possess a spine?"
  5. Again.....tell me you wouldn't have partied like a rock star with that setup when you were 18.
  6. Homeslice is actually a PITA to get to, and to get into. Love it, it's my wife's favorite pizza, but it's just always slammed. When I just want a damned pizza, I like someplace I can go into and get a pizza. Not a fan of Tony C's. I've had it several times, and the crust is always too soggy/limp. I've given it several chances. I hear great things about Feral, but it's takeout only. When we want to go in and sit down and eat, that's not an option. But I do want to try it. The real hard sell is going there instead of Bufalina, which my wife loves. But again, can be tough to get in.
  7. ....I would have killed for that setup back in college, to tell the truth.
  8. Yeah, I kinda dig East Side Pies. We've hit the Burnet Road location a couple of times lately.
  9. Yes. But it's Arkansas. That allows him to park an actual mobile home. So, winning.
  10. Dude. They feel that way about ANYTHING with wheels. Including houses.
  11. Gaurdians Of Pedophiles It's that plain and simple. It's not conspiracy, or hyperbole...they are actively and repeatedly doing it. The safest thing in the world to be right now is 1) a pedophile 2) who is a member of a political group the GOP wants to protect.
  12. What's that? Federalism? Never heard of it. Signed, The Federalist Society
  13. One of my law partners is that guy. He's an east-coast guy. I hate it. Sincerely, Brisketexan
  14. This. A shorthand pitch of "yes, if you do this, it will be a true stroke of genius, there's no way you won't win a NPP if you do that" has about a 98% chance of swaying him. They absolutely do. Frankly, if any of them do NOT, it's professional negligence on their part. Not using a professional to give you the script for manipulating a transparent narcissist would be as dumb as trying to land a plane without reviewing the manual for the landing sequence. It's right there, in step-by-step order.
  15. troph is right. hot dog is wrong. Let's update the statement, because it's evergreen, and has blanket applicability. Trump: "I could rape a minor in the middle of 5th avenue and not lose any voters." He was right then, he's right now, he'll be right forever. Because it's a perfect cocktail of cult and cucked cowards.
  16. I won't join NATO. I'll just sign a separate treaty with every NATO nation (except the US, which is now an ally of Russia) where each of those countries says "yeah, all of the mutual promises we all make as members of NATO? We're making them with you as well." That's how you do it. Of course, the group in DC today need to apply some subtle pressure implying that Putin is emasculating Trump, and Trump isn't man enough to make a US security guarantee for Ukraine going forward.
  17. You have been warned, Brisketexan Tell your mom I said hi, Brisketexan
  18. I agree. Very truly yours, Brisketexan With warmest regards, Brisketexan I await your prompt response, Brisketexan
  19. A can of New Coke will be prominently displayed on the desk of each anchor.
  20. Man. Remember that one so well. Was supposed to be the first day of school for us. Went outside in the eye with my old man while he patched a couple of spots on the roof that had taken some hits. Fortunately/unfortunately, our old cedar shingle roof was so waterlogged that the shingles were heavy, so they mostly didn't get blown off. No power for three days. Otherwise, we came out ok.
  21. While the Brits were in town, we bought novelty Texas shaped nuggets. They’re gone. The nuggets are still here. We’re taking care of that.
  22. New media and dominant forms of communication come along and change shit. See Nixon and TV. The new medium killed him when he looked like shit on TV int he 1960 debate (no makeup, his stubble looked bad, and he was all sweaty). And it save him before, when he gave the Checkers speech. Why he didn't respect the medium after that speech is a mystery, but TV changed shit, a lot. Well, the intertrons and memes and social media are a similar shock and change. You don't have to like it. You may think it is stupid, and mostly appeals to idiocy....but it's how you win or lose now. So, fucking play to win. FFS, if the rules become "whoever goes full OnlyFans and sticks a buncha sharpies up their butt wins," then you best lube up and hit Office Depot posthaste. Just. Win.
  23. There was a pretty cute gal from Ballinger I flirted with hard in college. Tried to connect, and it just wasn't happening. Later that semester, started dating the gal who I ended up marrying. Early December, we became a real-deal couple. Days later, Ballinger gal called ME (1) to tell me she was having a little Christmas party at her condo, and (2) she'd really like me to come, as her date. Had to let her down. That's the way I roll. Breaking cute Ballinger gals' hearts. Kinda dodged a bullet, though. She and my wife actually knew each other, and ran in the same circles over the years. Turns out, she was kinda weird. Don't know if that was her, or the Ballinger coming through.
