  1. I 100% had that bike. I tried to do BMX shit with it. It weighed 297 lbs. The BMX shit did not go according to plan.
  2. Yeah…Alicia looks her age these days, and it’s a damn fine look. No Botox or major work, and she’d be one of your faves in the mom group in your hood.
  3. Breffis. Forgive the nice plate. Ham. Hatch green chile thick cut bacon. Green chile cheese grits.
  4. And further inserting a wedge between the US and NATO and Ukraine. That was Putin’s goal for this meeting, and I’m 100% sure he accomplished it.
  5. This is part of the lesson: stand up to him. But here's the second part: don't just stand your ground. Rush forward. Attack. From all sides, and all angles. Everywhere. Relentlessly. I'm dead serious. The admin should be facing 10,000 lawsuits across the country. And every individual involved in the administration should face ruinous personal litigation (that is, for matters that are outside of their duties, so no immunity). Tom Homan stiffed his home remodeling contractor? Buy the claim, and sue him. Drag his ass into depositions. Hearings. All of it. And do it with respect to his dispute with his auto mechanic. He was a consultant to the GEO group -- find someone who was harmed by GEO group, name him as a defendant. He gave numerous private speeches between tenures with the Trump admin -- find anything defamatory he said, sue the fuck out of him. Find out what businesses he might be involved in, threaten (legally) his partners if they don't dump him toot sweet. Etc. etc. As to all of them. Always. Be. Attacking. Don't pause to breathe. Just attack. Crush them. Drive them to misery, and then an early grave. They can be beaten, because they are weak cowards.
  6. Oh, it is. Quite gentrified, but not entirely. So, still affordable for her (London affordable). There's a good number of immigrants (the shops on the high street carry a lot of African groceries and such), but also, as you get down towards Hackney Wick, a whole bunch of Audis and such parked in front of the houses. And we made reservations for a Sunday roast dinner at the Marksman. Thanks, Penelope. Doesn't mean we won't hit the Jugged Hare at some point too....we'll see. It's a short visit for me. Dinner at some sort of cheese restaurant that she loves on Thursday, Friday is a relatively open day, Saturday we'll do stuff around town and then Coldplay at Wembley that evening. Sunday will get up and do a nice full English somewhere, do some more stuff around town, go to Hadestown, then the Marksman for dinner and back to her flat to hang out afterwards. Then back to the hotel, as I fly out the next morning (not too bad, though - the 11:20 flight, so I don't need to get up at the crack of dawn to get to LHR - hell, may even try out the Elizabeth Line).
  7. Yes. Wait....just 90%? You sonofa.....
  8. Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of my ball tanning machine.
  9. There's certainly more blowjob activity between Trump and Putin than there is between Trump and Melania. She paid her dues, now she's just sticking with the deal to get her payday.
  10. They should all be outed/doxxed and shamed and harassed in every aspect of their lives. A sign in your yard near the school where their kids go: "John Smith drives by here every day, and he's a fascist member of the gestapo. Do not have anything to do with his family."
  11. Yes. They chose single-channel ignorance. I don't guzzle Fox News and OAN 24/7, but I ALSO don't guzzle MSNBC 24/7. In fact, I purposefully maintain some people in my social media feed, and read news aggregators, that include MAGA thinking/reporting, because it's important to at the very least "know what the other side is thinking." They chose the comfort of one-sided lies. And they knew that the places those lies were taking them were evil and cruel....and they just stomped on the accelerator. I repeat, fuck them and their evil asses. They know. They fucking know. They always know. They deserve, and will get, no absolution from me.
  12. Trump as a roomba? Analogy checks out:
  13. Marksman looks incredible. Will see if we can talk the daughter into it. We're going to see Hadestown at 3:00, figure that wraps up around 5:30-6:00, plenty of time for us to get to a dinner around 7:15-7:30 in Hackney. Probably for the best.
  14. Van didn't go over the flyover, it got pushed against and scraped against the guardrail. They want to get all victims and charges because that's what you're supposed to do. Odds are very good the driver will never come forward because....being an older model minivan, there's a good chance the driver is hispanic, so there's a good chance that no f'n way do they want to interact with any law enforcement these days.
  15. Blame billionaires, including the Guardians Of Pedophiles leadership who are getting richer while we all suffer (and using that money to sexually enslave children), and promise them free pie-in-the-sky shit. There. Done. We win the presidential race popular vote by 3-5% with that plan.
  16. Counterpoint: grievances and hatred may be the only real American values that exist.
  17. Maybe not for us on this board, but viral TikTok shit is a real thing for people under 30. Shit, we have two 21 yr old Brits visiting this week, and the other night we had to go to Olive Garden because the restaurant and its breadsticks are a GLOBAL TikTok viral thing. So, I’d believe it about Chili’s.
  18. Noem: “I needed a place with a yard big enough to shoot my dog!”
  19. What fungus were you sucking on, exactly? Point to the spot on the picture.....
  20. Zero disagreement with that. But counterpoint: that's the world we live in, those are the rules of the new order. Play according to them, and turn them to your advantage, or LOSE. That's why I'm all in favor of simple language lies, on repeat. They work. Turn the firehose on, crank it up to 11, and win. Yeah....you're not really rebutting my thesis here. "we've seen multiple cycles of the pattern of all sizzle no steak... But people keep thinking uncritically and ignore that it's ONLY sizzle because mAnY pEoPlE aRe SaYiNg" EXACTLY. Understand that the vast majority of voters are utterly stupid and gullible and easily played. So...PLAY THEM. Offer them free candy bars and unicorn rides. Whatever bullshit it takes to WIN. The only rule of American politics, 2025: WIN. Subpart (a) of that rule? WIN. Subpart (g)(2)(iii)? Also WIN. Nothing else matters if you don't WIN.
  21. Again, their $10.99 combo deal is genius, and my wife and I take advantage of it. Their smashburger is pretty damned good. I can get chips and salsa, burger, fries, and a drink....for $10.99. And honestly, it's enough food that my wife and I can even split it. Add an extra drink, we're up to like $14 for the two of us. When we do that, we tip well because we're taking up a whole table (one of the reasons we prefer to sit at the bar when we do that), but truly, it's a great deal for a decent-tasting freshly cooked meal. It may not be the greatest meal in town, but it's solid and affordable. And when we look at the demographic taking advantage of it, it works well. If you're working class, you can take the family out for a fresh sit-down dinner for $11-12 a head? That's an unbeatable deal.
  22. A measurable number of "progressives" either stayed home or did a protest vote for Jill Stein or some shit this last election for EXACTLY that sort of "progressive stand on uncompromising principles" or some shit. It isn't the majority of progressives, but it's enough of them. Dems are busy being divided by purity tests. Progressives won't compromise. Centrists won't work with progressives. Blah blah blah. Republicans are busy uniting around the worst human imaginable. So Republicans will keep winning, while Dems will keep losing but goshdarnit, they'll still have their principles. There is only one principle that matters: WIN. If you don't win elections, then your principles matter as much as my romantic entreaties to Sela Ward, and have even less of a chance of actually becoming policy.
  23. I guarantee you that most of the people in this photo would have been characterized as "decent people" by their peers at the time. The kind of folks who would bring over a meal unsolicited when a neighbor is sick. Honest, hardworking folks. Churchgoing. All that stuff. Also, super happy to be at a lynching. We're at the "so, other than being happy members of a lynch mob, they're really decent people" stage. Enough. Enough with the rationalizing, forgiving, etc. The people in the photo above are evil scum. In a just world, they would have been driven out of society altogether. Their spiritual heirs today are no different. Ya. Basta. Enough.
