  1. Surly just gonna let this one slide through? Y'all slippin'.
  2. I miss regular updates on this thread. This is not the kind of updates I want to see. Less fire, more shit stick.
  3. So, the OP has only posted once on this thread. Should we be nervous?
  4. Wife (no pics) and I went to the second Nashville show of George Strait/Chris Stapleton/Little Big Town at Nissan Stadium. Show was cut short by storms. George did 33 songs the night before, only 14 on our night. Not a country music fan, but have always appreciated George and Stapleton is pretty good too. First time seeing George, disappointed it was cut short. My wife has vowed this will be our last attempt at a Summer outdoor concert. Last year we went to Garth at Nissan Stadium and he never even took the stage before rain and lightning of biblical proportions cancelled the show. Got our money back on that one.
  5. I think the B12 should go in the opposite direction on GOR restrictions. Take away the penalty to leave. The only destination anyone would leave for would be the B1G or the SEC. If dropping the exit fee meant you could have Oregon and Washington for a decade or more, and the B1G came calling, wish them well and send them on their way. In the meantime, you added a lot of value to the B12 during the time they were there. The networks might even sweeten the pot a little on the front end if they knew they could pull teams out later. If you want some sort of "repayment" for the lost value from a team leaving, maybe put in the contract that if a team leaves the B12 gets a percentage of future conference payouts from that team's new conference. B12 needs to think outside the box here.
  6. Lots of people want them to wear them in Houston. I'm sure it will never happen, but imagine the butthurt that would cause!
  7. Well, sorry for all the butthurt, but I grew up a Cowboys fan and live in Nashville now, so I can appreciate how spectacular these look without all the angst. Among the best looking throwback looks out there (TB creamsicle is up there too).

  9. AMA? Is there an undertaker's organization I don't know the letters to?
  10. Same email issue here, I got a very early Gmail invite and got my name with nothing extra. I get random crap all the time. Once I was getting updates from a daycare center on someone's kid, including pictures. I didnt' want to have a seat over there, so I went to the trouble to track down the daycare center's phone number and let them know their error. For months I have been getting someone's mileage logs from a trucking company. Tried multiple times to get them to wise up, but no luck. I just ignore those now.
  11. These guys are killing us with two out hits. I think they have double digits.
  12. Higher seed was home in first and third games this season.
  13. Not carefully. The Ruzzian way.
  14. Can I just say on the record, every time this thread is bumped, I cringe a little every time I click on it dreading what I may find. Pleasantly surprised this time.
  15. I am no longer gruntled.
  16. Thusfar I am thoroughly gruntled.
  17. No kidding! All one run nail biters except for the safety orange getting handed a quality L. As a Gator fan living in TN, it doesn't get much better than that! Good times all around!
  18. Well, I bet some GA or volunteer assistant has a new job assignment moving forward for us....
  19. In my teens, our family was on vacation in Florida. My dad and I were out in neck deep water in Daytona (I think) when we saw several people on shore pointing out to sea to our right. We couldn't tell what they were pointing at, but were on alert. In an instant, we were surrounded by LOTS (dozens at least) of what I always assumed were baby sharks, but it might have been some sort of small breed. We both immediately started swimming for shore. I will never forget feeling shark skin with every stroke for the first several strokes - definitely smooth and not scaly. Knowing now that sharks don't give birth in large numbers, it was likely some small variation, but at the time I was terrified that Mommy Shark was nearby about to protect her young. The fins were so small, there is no way that is what the people on shore were seeing. Maybe something was hunting them, or there was enough of them to change the water color, etc. Who knows, but it got our attention pretty quick!
  20. This reeks of holding out for more TV money before making the jump to 9. TV benefits from the additional eyes on that non-cupcake game, why shouldn't the SEC get their share? The recent talk of a "short term" 8 conference game schedule screams "until someone pays us to do more."
  21. Several Utz mentions already. The wife (no pics) has brought home some big bags of Dill Pickle Utz chips from Costco recently. They do not suck.
  22. Unsurprising development is unsurprising: more than one. They extracted what they could and left the rest. That paycheck does not justify that kind of a risk.
  23. Today I learned (thanks to PS) that timbers are also called canebreaks. GIF/TheMoreYouKnow/GIF
