  1. I've heard that in several states, KS, NE off the top of my head in addition to the ones mentioned. Same story, one day's ride on a horse. Curiously, no one who's told me that can tell me how far a horse can go in a day, or half a day, as it were. Kinda makes me thing urban legend. Or rural legend.
  2. Agree. He's basically a Zuckerberg or Musk in China. Would you say that Jack has been offed?
  3. Sorry for the noob question to a bunch of seasoned pros. I bought a little BTC, ETH and a couple other shitcoins at the last peak about 3 years ago and haven't touched them since. BTC was like $12k and ETH was like $1.2k. I bought on coinbase and then transferred into binance which is where it now sits. I think the only reason I transferred to binance was to buy the shitcoins. Great idea. Just logged into binance.com and got a notice that I'm on a US ISP and they don't service US customers anymore and to open an account at binance.us and transfer the coins over there within 14 days or they gonna lock my account and make it a pita to get the coins out. I don't see any advantage to doing this vs transferring back to coinbase. Well other than I'll lose a few dollars, literally, less than $10 on the shitcoins. And coinbase doesn't seem to support as many coins as binance but they seem to have all the popular ones. Thoughts from the experts?
  4. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump ordered the release himself. Trump: "Release it, it makes me look good!" Random WH brown noser: "uh Mr. President maybe that's not such a good idea" Trump: "Who are you to question me, release it!" Random WH brown noser: "Yes sir! Great idea!"
  5. Dignity? Pride? ahaahahahahahaha
  6. You must be a hit at parties.
  7. Yeah I'm not doing anything today. Trying not to look...not having a lot of luck with that.
  8. No, it’s just Andy goofing on Elvis.
  9. and invented the wishbone.
  10. That's OK on a pass behind the LOS.
  11. We'll win convincingly. Most, if not all of the young guys will shine. Then over the next few years, they will all regress and we'll wonder what happened to them.
  12. If he was smart, that's what he would do.
  13. Seems pretty par for the course. Scumbag lawyers looking to make a buck. Fishing for plaintiffs. First "investigation" was announced a few days ago right after the merger. Don't think this is the reason for the pullback, more likely folks just taking gains. Although, in the posted interview, they softly accuse Soon-Shiong of manipulation which he doesn't address directly.
  14. Just a follow up, no real side effects. Injection site felt like I had been beaned by a baseball on day 1. Not like a Nolan Ryan beanball more like a decent hs pitcher. By day 2, almost no pain and it’s day 3, and no pain at all even when I press the site.
  15. Should fit right in here.
  16. Just got the Pfizer shot - first one. Bro-in-law is an MD at a small local hospital and because so many slapdick employees are refusing the vaccine, they have extra supply they need to get rid of. Need to go back on 1/13 for shot 2. The nurse who popped me told me to avoid alcohol for a week. When I gave her the "it's 12/23" eyeroll she just smiled and said that wasn't a hard and fast rule.
  17. That's not Topeka Sam, that's yo seem might...yo sim minny...never mind, it's Topeka Sam.
  18. With no news. Well, no public news. Something must be up behind the scenes. It's actually outpaced ALPP over the past couple days. For grins, try charting both over 5 days.
  19. Thanks for clearing this up. Hate to admit, one of the things bugging me the most through these sua sponte actions is remembering who yellowshirt was. Couldn't recall if it was Sua Sponte or Sangre Narajanda.
  20. Yeah my bet on NK is based entirely on Patrick Soon-Shiong. [csb] right after he bought out Magic's stake in the Lakers, I was lucky enough to get a pretty good seat at a Lakers game, like 4th row. Before the game, there's a stir under the basket and it's Ron Artest, by now retired, making an appearance. Everything settles down and he grabs a front row seat. Couple minutes go by, Soon-Shiong comes in, and it turns out Artest is in his seat. Artest gets sent packing, never to be seen again during the game. Probably didn't even have a ticket. [/csb]
  21. True, but that's not stonking, that's investing.
  22. The number is reasonably correct. At least if you’re rounding to the nearest 5%.
  23. Bought ALPP at .062, how cute, had to use that third decimal place. Sold half at .16, more than double, again, how cute. So, sell half again at $3.50?
  24. Gotdamn I didn't know until today that was why it is so named. Never ever heard anyone refer to it as anything but Hobby, even before Intercontinental opened.
  25. Thanks for the link. So as I read that, am I correct that as long as you show a 30% reduction in any of quarters 1-3, you are eligible? Also, since there are no stupid questions, am I correct in that both (i) a forgiven PPP loan is not considered income and thus not taxable; AND, (ii)the costs covered by the PPP loan can be expensed? Or is my AND really an OR?
