  1. Well, not the popular vote
  2. It’s simpler. It’s a means of sabotaging government and then turning around and saying “See? Look at the failures of government” Especially when they can blame their favorite boogeyman Lina Hildago. Just utter contempt for the constituents they are charged with governing- and belief they’re too stupid to see what’s happening
  3. Yeah. Killing a 3 year old to own the libs. It’s surreal there are no actual or political consequences. It’s truly astounding GOP voters in Texas don’t care if Texas kills kids in the foster care system, immigrant children on buses, or doing nothing in response to mass shootings at schools. Sure did get some sweet segments on Fox News though

lol you aren’t fucking around. That would make me into mashed potatoes
  5. I guess my point is don’t count on consistency or precedent or legal reasoning from SCOTUS - even when it comes to recent issues/opinions. If Roberts can’t stomach a certain political outcome, he seems able to get Kavanaugh or Barrett to come along
  6. Except SCOTUS just issued a shadow docket order in Garland v VanDerStock. Crazy district judge said gov couldn’t enforce bans on ghost guns but SCOTUS put that injunction on hold during appeals process. I don’t know there are 5 votes that are willing to throw away all gun regs.

It depends where you live but there are stores that sell it in chocolate bars or other candies. I’ve never tried, but a friend of mine is a big fan of micro dosing. It’s my understanding that it can help create new neuro pathways in the brain which is why governments are looking into researching use as treatments for addiction, depression, etc
  8. Why? So the state’s foster system can murder the racist child?
  9. Hasnt more than one spy infiltrated Mar a Lago? That place has garbage security. No secret information requiring a SCIF will be secured at that golf course
  10. And then appealed the sanction for noncompliance which is now public. I’m sure there’s going to be absolutely no business or PR consequences for siding with Trump over the J6 investigation. [sarcasm font] I wonder if he regrets firing all the attorneys who could have told him that was dumb.
  11. Good write up and that author put more thought into the order than Cannon did. I fully believe that post up thread that says Cannon saw a TV lawyer on Fox, got indignant, and started demanding answers. This FL case will be a shit show
  12. I don’t care enough about this kid to have to sit through a whole documentary about him. Christ, some of y’all are sadists
  13. They weren’t given a directive to provide an announcement verbatim. To believe SW was not attempting to comply with the order in good faith is insane- apart from the mandate to fly in some rando from ADF for a day
  14. The local news payoff was fantastic
  15. Read this and get back to me about how even handed and reasonable this was 🙄 https://open.substack.com/pub/chrisgeidner/p/judge-orders-adf-religious-liberty-training?r=1m2ddv&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email
  16. That and also the judge ordered this sanction completely on his own. Plaintiff didn’t request it and ADF isn’t involved in the case in any way. It’s unclear if the judge even contacted ADF - which doesn’t in fact do training on religious liberty. They are far right activists who fund and file cases like the lady who didn’t want to create gay wedding websites even though she was never asked to do one in the first place - or the ones who are trying to get courts to ban abortion drugs nationwide. To suggest they are a neutral party or even a vendor who provides employment law training regarding religious accommodations is absurd.
  17. I haven’t seen it since college but I think they also showcased Wilco, and The Walkmen
