It’s amazing that Haiti can even field a team with the state of their country

Even more amazing that we can concede a goal to them within 20 mins.

Whose fault was it?

The keeper, Freese. It was an awful turnover.

45 down, 45 to go!!!

I’m not gonna learn how to spell his name bc fuck him I better not see his ass again, but abayang is the worst player to play striker for the nats, like ever. Worse than Zardes worse than Ferreira, just watch him try to make run and mistiming them or not making the right run or not making a diagonal run or running behind the 5 or fucking slipping on the pitch this guy is soooo asss

Ageymangs first halfway decent first touch and he scores.

I'm impressed he didn't panic in the one-on-one, so kudos to him for staying calm and slotting that one home!

I seriously thought he would come up with a new way to fuck up like kicking it into the cowboys gift shop from 1 meter out

I was surprised that his first touch didn’t go out of play or that he didn’t just fall over like he has done like 6 times

Didn't get to watch any. Watched some highlights. Freese fucking sucks but we all probably knew that already.

Outside of that it looks like we played okay?

Just got back. I get the Agyemang hate, I really do. But watching in person gave me a lot of perspective and how much of an absolute handful he is for central defenders to deal with. Haiti was a very large team in the back but they were on the ground all night.

Tillman is an absolute stud on defense. Should have had 2 more goals to go with it.

My initial thought on the goal conceded was Ream should not have played the ball. But watching the replay, yea, keeper effed up there.

If we finished our chips, this would have been a blowout. Hopefully better finishing to come in the knockouts.

Took the boy to his first game ever tonight so went for the good seats.

Overall, the crowd filled in pretty nicely for such a large stadium. I had way lower expectations.

1) Looks to be about 25,000.

I was thinking 10,000 to 15,000 would show up.

2) You’re white?

Spoiler

Source: Forest agree deal for Juventus' Weah, Mbangula

  • Matteo Moretto

Nottingham Forest have set their sights on Juventusplayers Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula to strengthen their squad this summer, a source has told ESPN.

A source tells ESPN that the English club have already reached an agreement with Juventus for both players for a total of around €22 million, but the move won't be finalized until they agree to personal terms with the two young players.

The source adds that Nottingham are trying to get approval from United States international Weah, 25, and Belgium's Mbangula, 21, in order to reach an agreement on personal terms, including salary and length of contract.

In addition to the potential signing of Weah and Mbangula, the source adds that Forest are also pursuing a center forward in the summer window.

The two players are currently in the U.S. playing with Juventus at the Club World Cup. Igor Tudor's side faces Manchester City in their last group match and are already assured of a spot in the round of 16.

Weah's participation in the Club World Cup ruled him out of contention to feature for the U.S. at the Gold Cup this summer. The Americans beat Haiti 2-1 on Sunday night to win their group and set up a quarterfinal match against Costa Rica on Saturday in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Normally I prefer our players to stay away from the EPL, but Weah is strong, fast, and has good size. I think that he will do fine if he ever figures out his position.

Agyemang is a dream fit for a championship side.

I wonder if he can learn to be better with the ball. If his touch was like it was on his goal in the last game, he could be a force at a solidly built 6’4”.

We're close. I swear to God we have to be.

I know that because we have $30M players who I never want to see pick the shirt up again. Who are getting benched in crap competitions with our C team playing.

That is a hallmark of a country that has the talent to win a World Cup or at least go very deep.

We just have to figure it out.

Interesting to see if Lyon demotion to ligue2 due to financial issues holds up.

Tessman and Turner playing in the lowers decision would not be ideal before the World Cup.
