Charlie Kirk Assassinated [Shooter remains at large]

Yes but he calmly said those things. -
they keep posting about what an exemplary christian he was, and how he showed the world how to sit down and talk out your differences with those that you disagree with with. not only was he a bad faith debater who majored in “refusing to answer straightforward questions” from the Jordan Peterson School of Spineless Debate, but everything this asshole espoused was the opposite of the teachings of jesus christ. if this racist, fascist, misogynistic mutant represents “exemplary christianity” then we need to go ahead and label the christian church a far right wing extremist hate group and get to work on cleaning the streets of this gang of dangerous seditionists, white supremacists, and pedophiles.

Is that really analogous to people saying Kirk got what he deserved or was asking for it by saying things the left considers hate speech? Some righty or NRA fanboy ever said the kids had it coming? -
‘I don’t care’ – Keegan Bradley issues Ryder Cup message to European rivals By Josh Lees •35 minutes ago Keegan Bradley has no interest in getting embroiled in mind games with his European rivals ahead of the Ryder Cup later this month. Bradley will lead his fellow Americans into battle at Bethpage Black, with talk surrounding the event intensifying as it grows closer. Two weeks out, the majority of both teams are on the golf course this week, with 11 of the 12 Europeans in action at the BMW PGA Championship alongside their captain Luke Donald. The Americans meanwhile are playing on home soil at the Procore Championship, with ten of Bradley’s players competing out in California. Despite not being in the field, Bradley is present at Silverado Resort’s North Course to oversee the prep of those in action. On Wednesday the captain faced the media with the talking points of course centring around the Ryder Cup. During his press conference the US captain was quizzed on any potential back-and-forth ‘banter’ between the teams in the build-up. Admitting he has no plans of getting involved with the Europeans in the weeks leading up to the trip to New York, he replied: “I really don’t care what they’re doing, I really don’t care what team Europe does.” More than aware of the threat his rivals pose, Bradley described the current crop of Euro players as the ‘best European team ever’ paying the same compliment to captain Donald. This however was seemingly as much as he willing to speak about his opponents. Reiterating his ‘don’t care’ stance, Bradley continued: “I don’t care what Europe is doing, “I only care about our 12 guys, our caddies, the wives. I only care about what we’re doing… “So they should be confident but I’m not really — I really don’t care what they say about us, I only care about our team.”

I think our main issue was that it was not only egregious, but that it supported what we thought we were seeing from the officiating at the time, and there was a specific crew that penalized Texas at a anomalously high rate while simultaneously under penalizing our opponents, which was evidence based (I forgot which poster ran the numbers). The fact that the guy who ran into Strong had a job afterwards indicated this was beyond the norm. During that same timeframe, we saw the SEC fire officials for their screw ups, but the B12 seemed to laugh at it. Then there was a multi-year discussion about whether taunting was a penalty when it was against Texas, and Tom Herman was asking for rules clarity. It seemed we could be penalized for throwing up the Horns in the endzone or in celebration, but others could get in our players faces and do the horns down. We were not allowed to do the guns down or a penalty would be thrown. The goal was clarity and the B12 ultimately took 2 years to make what is a simple ruling. Either taunting is allowed or it is not, just call it evenly. Those Okie State officials were never disciplined. In fact they were allowed to officiate more games between Texas and Okie State, rather than being assigned to other teams.

First time in this cloak room place. This is sad place. After going through this thread, and weighing points made here, then going back to other threads. This is a dark place. It's not our political climate but our relationships with our fellow man. It's utterly disgusting the way we treat each other. This blaming and baiting and finger pointing is beyond childish. Laughing at death. It's beyond immature. It's vial and hateful. It's disgusting. I would hope there are no official UT grads here. We all just want to be right and no one wants to be human. I'll just continue to go find the human race again

Texas is 7-26 on 3rd downs. This is a bit intentionally misleading. He throws in the 4 yards to make it look worse. There is not a lot of 3rd and medium (only 3 attempts between 4 and 7 yards) 1-3 yards: 10 attempts, 6 conversions 4-7 yards: 3 attempts, 0 conversions 8+ yards: 13 attempts, 1 conversion Average distance on 3rd down attempts of 4 or more yards is 10.56 yards. I am shocked it is a bad number. There is no doubt 3rd down can and should be better. The bigger issue to me is that 50% of the 3rd downs are 8 yards or longer. That speaks more to issues on 1st and 2nd down. Ah, thank you for the context. His 2nd amendment quote seemed grotesquely insensitive but at least debatable. But these other quotes make it clear that he’s a modern shock-jock which unfortunately makes him a thought-leader similar to Rush Limbaugh.
