Didn't Sark say after the game that they practiced and prepared for an onside kick defense for Georgia? If that's the case its and execution deal then. -

He can probably get good offer from NFL team but at some point when a person is miserable enough it’s not all about the money. It’s about personal mental health.
-
Our defense has some great players up front, and against many of the offenses we have played this year they have been able to cover for weaknesses in the back end. Teams that have talented offensive lines (or can just get away with holding all day like Vandy for a half) have been able to neutralize them and expose the rest of the defense.

Would you walk away from his contract?
-
Sark should probably move on and needs a change of scenery due to his personal life issues. I think he knows it.

Michigan crushed ND, 93-54 South Carolina easily dispatched USC, 69-52

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs

There’s no way aggy stays at 3 after this weekend. I get that they are undefeated but they haven’t played anyone with a pulse. we won’t be because the committee sucks but I’d make the case we should be ranked above them. Going on the road to osu and Georgia and one bad game against Florida is a hell of a better resume than 10 wins against nobodies. Shrug -

The running game from the RB's was better. I didn't say good, I just said BETTER, especially considering the opponent. We know Wisner can put up some decent numbers with a decent OL. He did it last year. But I'm not sure what Earl, Ricky, Bijan could do behind this OL. OTOH, I'd like to see more of Simon, less of Baxter. Baxter is supposed to be the power back yet Wisner continuously breaks more tackles. And Baxter can only cut like Wisner in his dreams. -
It took until season week 10 for the offensive brain trust to figure out the Hutson + Robertson solution for the interior. Even then, this isn't really a combo that is going to excel against the stronger defensive fronts in the conference. Burton was asked a variation of "will Sark move on from underperforming assistants (Flood)" a few times over the last few weeks. Each time he dismissed the question, repeated the "importance of continuity talking point," and said essentially they would be replaced only if they left for the NFL or something. Current state of offensive line is not really something that happened over a single offseason. This was a multiyear failure of talent identification and development. Seems like continuity for the sake of continuity is not ideal in this circumstance.

With NIL and the portal, there is no blow by anymore in college football. You reset every season and roll the dice. -

Question relating to the above: how hard has Kirby hit the portal? We act like the portal and NIL are the solution to all recruiting ills. I think it's more like catching lightning in a bottle than a systematic solution for recruiting. Ranking-wise, Sark has recruited better than any coach at Texas since early-mid Mack Brown. Ranking doesn't tell the whole tale, though, obviously. He's also gotten some gems out of the portal. Kirby/UGa has a recruiting machine with long-term success going back 10 years now (and I think Richt was going pretty well there too), just like Saban's Alabama and tOSU. Hell, a couple of our best portal players came from Alabama and Georgia. That might tell you something.

Sark was out coached. Nothing more, nothing less. We had 9 penalties while Georgia only had 1. The same crew that called all the penalties in the SEC championship game last year showed up in Athens and continued the string of holding calls on Texas. We have to be better out of the bye weeks. This was pathetic.
-
Arch would you like to come back to a team with a rebuilding offensive line, wr with the dropsies, no running game, backup tight ends that are terrible and a coach that is truly lost? Really going to test his Longhorn love IMHO. I get that he loves it here, etc, but I can definitely see a business decision being made.

For some reason I don't feel like ou has blown by us. I can't quite put my finger on it. aggy is tbd but I'm pretty skeptical there too.

Kirby just casually shitting all over our culture.

A flat out lie. If we had prepared for it he would be throwing shit and yelling at the players in frustration. Instead he had that Quaker in a titty bar look on his face like he did not know the rules allowed for an onside kick in that situation.
-
Too eager to get back and block so Texas could return the kick to the 14 yard line.
