Just posted it on Spotify. Is CCRW aware they’re using one of their songs? The podcast’s theme song is a shitty cover.

I don't think that particular play is a great example to cite if you want to criticize Niblett. Go back and review that play if you can -- I have. That was a shitty, low, line-drive punt that landed a good 20 yards in front of where Niblett had set up. Not even Deion Sanders in his prime would have tried to field that punt on the fly. The punt then bounced crazily in OU's favor. Niblett approached the ball and clearly thought about trying to field it, but at the last instant he decided to let it go past him. I suppose one could second-guess his decision not to try to field the punt on the bounce, but with the way (and speed) that ball was bouncing, I had no problem with his decision. There was a good chance that an attempt to field that punt would have led to a muff, and the last thing Texas needed at that point in time was a muffed punt and a turnover in favor of OU, which would have been a huge swing in momentum. And, as someone else has pointed out, part of the reason the drive started at the 5 yard line was because one of the punt return team got called for a penalty. Some of Niblett's other decisions re: fielding punts in prior games are a lot more questionable than that play, IMO.

Dude in row 2 showing off his biceps is cracking me up.

He was the only one on OTF that picked Texas to win. Gerry and Rod picked OU. I'm not the biggest Bobby fan, but have to give credit when due. He was the only 9.95er that had the proper beat on this team preseason. So far he's been completely correct. He said Texas would struggle early with the changes and inexperience and would lose to OSU and Florida. He then said that would galvanize them in the Cotton Bowl and they would dispatch OU on the way to a 10-2 season. Let's hope he's right about that.

With the money that’s being thrown around in college football recently I don’t think there’s as much crossover anymore. The money is the same, if not more in college. We haven’t seen a big name move from college to the NFL in some time.

First pitch homer, 12 pitch walk in front of Vladdy seems pretty ideal for the Jays

I mean while it’s cool he called you back actually that’s shit below him that he can’t stop. People are going to try to move seats. It happens. The one guy making $12 a hour working your section can’t stop everyone.

I’m sure they bonded over being from Indy. I can’t find what club Halter played on, and they’re a year apart, so maybe they know of each other but didn’t know each other well until Elliot was recruiting Gary to Texas
