  1. Past hour
  2. Well, you're not really robbing unless you keep things.
  3. Most advanced QB stats show that Herbert was about the 10th-15th best QB in the league and that Maye was top 5. Herbert was 8-12 last year, between 5-10 in 2023, and 10-12 in 2022. They lost in the playoffs this year to NE, last year to Houston, missed the playoffs in 2023 (Herbert ended the season injured), and lost to the Jaguars in 2022 (they were up by 27). All in all, he's an above average QB. Not sure if it qualifies as good, but it is certainly not asswater. Can get you to the playoffs and that is about it. That said, the GM should be ashamed to compiling that list of WRs to support Herbert. It's a bunch of spares and 33 year old Keenan Allen. For $50mm, though, you want to see the promise of a playoff win at some point. This year, ESPN's power rankings have NE at #2 and Chargers at #11 and Vegas has NE at -3.5 (likely because of experience and weak schedule). This should have been a NE win, but I agree that the Chargers looked uncompetitive.
  4. Yep. They’re not going to find 4 starters in the portal. They’d be very fortunate to get 2. It’s why the Michigan bullshit stung pretty good.
  5. I haven’t watched Pluribus yet, though I will when my Apple TV subscription kicks in from AFC. But loved seeing Rhea Seehorn get honored and was secretly hoping she’d would shout out Better Call Saul in some way. Still need to see Hamnet and Sentimental Value but have seen most of the rest. Hope Sinners is able to get some recognition along with OBAA at the Oscars.
  6. Big mistake rushing Alpie back. Just rest him another 2 days. I know you’re trying to bust a slump, but it’s a late game on the West Coast.
  7. The problem is you're not going to land 4 quality OL in the portal. It's just going to be bodies. How many teams have legit depth on the OL? Maximize the best 6 or 7 OL.
  8. Just remember that functionally all of your friends and business associates voted for this…and would vote for it again today. You can only stand on the sidelines for so long, man.
  9. Man the playoffs have been exciting. I got the Steelers beating Houston tomorrow (Im not a Texans or Cowboys fan). Who yall got? I guess that means you got Steelers beating Houston too
  10. Rooting for winner of Bills/Broncos to win it all.
  11. So, are there some good OL out there that could opt for the portal this week? Are there OL out there currently holding out for more $$$, who may end up waiting too long, perhaps having to accept less, or possibly not ending up on a team at all?
  12. I'm a nerd who's seen all the foreign nominees this year and I have to agree, THE SECRET AGENT is really special. Shades of THE LONG GOODBYE. Sprawling and funny and terrifying. Didn't breathe for a good 20 minutes during the climax. Go, y'all!! (But also when SIRAT makes it to Austin, GO!!!!)
  13. exxon / esso doesn't have a code for buying trump coin and they don't care enough to use one of their shell companies
  14. Just call dudes you don’t like cocksuckers. It’s more effective, to the point and not off limits yet.
  15. I’m skeptical. Gerry or Jeff said today they really like the 4 OL they signed in 2025. Coleman Bros, Jackson Christian, and Brooks. All 4 were retained. They talked Robertson into coming back. So maybe they think they have their starting center, LT and RT. The Oregon State kid is a developmental piece. 2 starter types makes a lot of sense. That’d basically get them to 4.
  16. CPCX 815019. So owned by Chevron Phillips.
  17. Rimbo replied to Lurch's topic in Music
Oh I left some gear out. Shure SM57 and Audiotechnica DB125 (basically a Shure SM58 wannabe) for mics. Tannoy SBMs for speakers, powered by a Samson 120a. That's the whole setup.
  18. It may not be a bizarre take if the professionalization of college football hurts his business model. His whole business needs a long drawn out process, of camps, visits, top 10 posts, commitments, de-commitments and flips too keep subscribers engaged. He also needs all the hanger ons, like HS coaches, trainers, and uncles to feed his writers info. Tyler Atkinson’s recruitment is really bad for his business model where schools lock up blue chips early and then there’s zero drama since contracts are signed. A de-emphasizes of high school recruiting and the transfer portal only being open for a month is not a great set up for his business model.
  19. Ime has been trash for the last 2 months. Stone built and horribly imbalanced roster.
