  3. Why does Kash Patel always look: 1.) High as shit at a work function / tweaking / on a bad trip 2.) Fighting a wet shart

  5. A lot more than Tesla and Musk could ever dream of.
  6. I didn’t realize that he had never won an acting Oscar.
  7. On a widebody first class has its own boarding door so you never have to see the underclass and they'll never access your stowage.
  8. You still haven't answered this very straightforward question.
  9. As opposed to being accidentally dense like you?
  10. I see that now that I'm on a laptop. I went to go find the user in mind and... he's not around anymore. I guess problem solved.
  11. How much is the Catholic church worth?
  12. This is correct. There was plenty to be excited about with strong at the time he was hired. It was as soon as his assistant coaches were hired that most knew we were cooked.
  13. Enchubben sounds EXACTLY like my late FIL. UT grad '66. Enlisted in the Army immediately after graduation, did a tour in Korea as an ambulance driver at a MASH unit. Got out, married, started a family & went to work at his dad's successful RV business in SA. He fucked that up so badly he was passed over by his younger sister's husband to be the GM. So he quit the family business due to the insult & tried selling cars for Benson & McCombs. Couldn't hack that either. So his wife put on the pants & was the breadwinner for the next 25 years while he smoked, drank, & came up with lame ass ideas that never panned out. He had a special hatred for government employees. It severely damaged his relationship with his daughter who's been a gov't employee her entire career (but no the son who was active duty USAF for 25 years). Why did he hate gov't workers so much? It seems he applied for a civil service job in SA in the early 80s & didn't get it. So in his warped mind, the only way a white, male, veteran TexasEx wouldn't be hired is due to minority quotas. I mean, there's no way an alcoholic with no computer skills & a checkered employment history with major gaps wouldn't be a dream candidate for any hiring manager, right?
  14. RIP to one of the greats. The Sting is one of those movies I always watch if I run across it. Since Sneakers was already mentioned I will nominate Brubaker as one of his “underrated films”. As a kid I watched that a ton and learned all about the corrupt prison system in this country.
  15. I've gotta say, suspending the crew for that missed kick-off / punt crap is pretty bush-league compared to the crews we dealt with in the past (OSU 2022 or 2015, e.g.) That play did not change the outcome of the game, extend a drive, or really benefit the kicking team in ANY way. Hell, the receiving team got a good start due to the crappy kick. No seemingly malicious intent... Let's start suspending crews for missed targeting, missed face masks, things that are actually critical for player safety.
  16. Quit being purposefully fucking dense. It's annoying.
  17. Hover over the username and there's a box for ignore that will take you to the ignore settings.
  18. Not sure what Strong being a shitty HC has to do with DEI. Saying he was only hired because he was black after the fact is lazy reasoning. At the time of hire, Strong's resume was superior to guys like Stoops and Dabo when they took their first HC gigs. It was also superior to the guy that ended up replacing him. Was every shitty white coach hired just because they were white?
  19. I’ll repeat it for you, I don’t think race, sex orientation religion etc should be used in performance evaluation or hiring decisions. If you want to die on that hill by all means, continue to do so. I do have to ask though, does this mean you’re not coming to my birthday party?
  20. I don't mean in terms of views, like he had an HBO special and shit. I'd love to see him back in that kind of mainstream because this is real journalism.
  21. So the official story (which I'm not claiming is bullshit, I'm just confused on the physics of the whole thing) is that the shooter shot Kirk from his front from the roof of that building. Except when you see the video of Kirk getting shot he moves before the wound shows up on his neck. Most people seem to think he was hit in the chest on some body armor he was wearing and that the bullet ricochets up into his neck. Hardly anyone thinks the bullet went straight into his neck because that would have ripped his entire neck apart and left a giant exit wound. There are several videos from multiple angles of the shooting, including ones where you can see the back of Kirk's neck and there is no exit wound back there. I'm not a gun guy, so maybe I'm completely off base here, but it seems to me that getting shot by a large caliber bullet from a high powered rifle in the front of your neck would leave an exit wound on the back of your neck/head somewhere. There isn't one from everything I've seen. Thus, the wound we see on Kirk's neck is actually the exit wound and he was shot from behind. OR he actually was wearing body armor that took the initial hit and the ricochet went up into his neck and thus was tumbling to create a larger wound and wouldn't have the kinetic energy at that point to create an exit wound.
